We love apna bazaar and apna kitchen!
We are in the restaurant more than the bazaar, but when we went in looking for some specific things to make at home, they were really helpful!
Nice place to get Indian groceries with great food. Highly recommend to get the snacks and fresh vegetables.
Great food
I absolutely LOVE this store; they have such a wide variety of products as well as fresh home-made authentic Indian food that is available for purchase. Every time I visit this store I am always greeted with a very friendly smile and engaging conversation. I highly recommend this business!
Inhuman is less of a description about the lady who was there at the store. I asked for an extra plastic because I had a surgery so that I could put the stuffs I bought in another plastic bag. So that it is not heavy for me. My Phrygian asked me not lift more than ten pounds. Guess what this lady told me? These stuffs are not heavy. So inhuman not to give me an extra plastic bag where she saw I was a woman suffering?? I feel like reporting. This is so not done. Avoid at all cost.
I used to do alot of shopping here until they ripped me off. I will not be going back. I bought a tortilla press for 50$. It did not work so I exchanged for another. That one didn't work either! In the meantime, i had a whole pile of dough drying out on the counter and dinner ready to be put together. The manager refused to exchange or give refund. He said that since they are a small business they can't afford to give refunds. I guess they can afford to lose a customer then. There are better alternatives.
Visited for the first time after dining with the kitchen for years. Lovely people. Amazing selection. I am so happy I stopped in. Will definitely return. Thank you!
Apna Bazar Groceries store had most of the expired products specially for snacks and masala, for some they even hide the expiry date. When I went to complain the owner reaction was simple like go and get another one but this issue is not as simple as he think. Meat doesn't even have the expiry date. Once other Indian store closed in town these people changed all the grocery prices. Attitude changed towards customers once other store closed. Lot of people complained about the expired products by seems like they never care. for few products the expiry date is next month and when i asked they said like use with in the month what's big deal in it. We need to complain about the Indiana food and safety if this still continues.
Worth the look
Very bad experience. Once other Indian store closed these guys changed all the grocery prices. Even vegetables they are not sticking to the price what they written over there. Attitude changed towards customers once other store closed. When other Indian store running they use to say the prices are far low when compare to other store.
Restaurantji Recommends
Better than others indian grocery shops at Columbus
Well stocked. Friendly folks.
Amazing food and wonderful adjoining market
It is a decent store for indian in specific and Asians in general to get the food and general items which are not available in Kroger or Walmart particularly vegetables and in small quantities
Apna Bazar is my go-to grocery store! The wide variety of fresh produce, friendly staff, and great prices keep me coming back. It's a one-stop-shop for all my grocery needs. Highly recommend!
