I was visiting my granddaughter, daughter, and her boyfriend for my granddaughters fall break. We went to Chili's because they advertised a happy from 3 to 6, thinking we'd get some half priced appetizers and discounted beer. When we got there we found in order to get happy hour prices we had to sit at the bar! Not just in the bar area but on a stool at the bar! Are you kidding me!? We had a 12 year old with us so that wasn't an option. The advertising on the website...
I came in today with my daughter. She really wanted an iced coffee. They didn't have it but the bartender made my daughter a mocha ice coffee and she drank 3. She said they didn't have it on the menu but she would try it with coffee.Ask my daughter if she liked chocolate or Carmel. I didn't know her name but she went above and beyond for my daughter and I thank you girl behind the bar. I wanted to say thank you for having such a kind bartender. The world needs...
They've gotten pretty expensive. $11 for a nacho appetizer and it was only a single layer ring of chips with cheese and sauce. Literally like $1 per chip. And the manager spent most of the time talking to a couple at the bar while I was there. She did not assist the bartender at all who was serving both behind the bar and tables around the bar. I had to wait for service when I arrived even though the manager was there behind the bar.
