Good food, awful experience.
I ordered my food online for pick-up, and was notified that it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Perfect.
Then I got an email confirming the order will be ready in 7 minutes. And I also get a text from 5 guys telling me to click a link when I'm on my way to notify them. Okay, twice already we were made clear about when it would be ready, so this feels unnecessary, but sure.
Then the link asks me to hit a button to notify them when I arrive. Whatever. I roll into the parking lot a few minutes later, and hit the button.
Then I walk in, and they START making my food.
Why? Why even order online? Why email me, and text me, and ask me to update them on my progress to the burger shop?
But it was great, because I got to hang out in their dining area and ponder the nature of the trail of liquid leading from under the drink machine to a random spot about 2/3rds of the way across the restaurant. And I got to wonder if the brown bits in it were something already on the unswept floor that had soaked up the puddle, or if they had been washed out from under the machine by the steady leak. And if that wasn't enough to keep me entertained during the baffling and unnecessary wait, I also kept myself busy by attempting to swat the flies that kept landing on me.
