Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

On two different door dash deliveries, I asked for No Green Peppers and they didn't listen. Do they even read the Special Instructions?? The second delivery my Szechaun Chicken had all green peppers and little onions! No more delivery's from them!

I ordered chicken fried rice which was ~$12 after tax. I got a carton of rice with maybe 4 1" long slivers of chicken. The "fried" rice wasn't even cooked all the way and the peas were still cold.

Delicious! The food here is HANDS DOWN some of the best Chinese food I have eaten in a long time. Everything tasted great, and was priced well for the quality. The owners are ABSOLUTE CUPCAKES ? Super nice, smiling, courteous, cleaning continually....they deserve all the praise! Now go there and get yourself some good food! ???

They were very understanding when I recently messed up. I called in an order, thinking I was calling the Great Wall in Franklin. Was surprised that the Franklin Great Wall didn't have our order ready (duh!). The Columbus Great Wall called to remind me that my order was ready, and that's when I realized what I'd done. I told them I couldn't pick it up, but I stopped by a few days later to pay for it (since it was my mistake, not theirs!) and they wouldn't take it! I did order food from them that time.

The General Tso's Chicken had a really nice, thick sauce, but I wouldn't call it "extra spicy" like I ordered. My wife said the Garlic Chicken was good, and the kids had some Sweet & Sour Chicken and lo mein noodles. Might give them another try.

I came in today and got some Food. The lady working basically threw our food down and was like here ya go! Then I asked her if I could get some plates and she gave me 2 and said that's all you get ..... Rude! I usually get good service but this was unnecessary.....

The shrimp fried rice was good but I, as well as my other colleagues, got sesame chicken and it was disappointing. I don’t think i actually tasted the texture of the chicken, it was hard and tasted like the last bits that you’d get at the bottom and covered in the sauce. The sauce was nice though, it made me want to keep trying to eat it and come back to reorder. I love local restaurants like this so maybe it was just a bad time to try this place out since it was during lunch. Overall, Definitely would try again after lunch hours.

All the time I’ve been there it has been amazing, I really don’t understand why some people say it’s bad, like some people say the prices are too high but that’s just inflation. Nowadays almost everything is very expensive, so how can you say it’s expensive when they are just trying to make enough for themselves? Plus, the 5-10min wait time is very impressive!

Vegetarian options: On most of the food you can ask for no meat and they can make it without meat.

**we tried to return our food immediately because of the chemical smell and taste and the Lady that owns the place would only refund half of our money because we took a bite!! Then she was rude and clearly mad about our complaint. Don’t expect good customer service…. It’s too much to ask for…..Their food has a very chemical like taste! And the crab Rangoon smells and taste fishy… worse than what crab should or typically does. I don’t recommend. Spend your money at Ruyi or Fo Shiki.
