Koi Grill & Sushi Bar

The food was great and the staff was super friendly! We ordered a Koi roll, Cowboy roll, and Crab Rangoons to go. They made sure we had everything we needed and it was ready within 20 minutes. They were all delicious!

Server, Erica, was lovely. Soup, salad, coconut shrimp appetizer and hibachi meals were all very good. First, but not last visit. Inside was pleasant, clean, bright. Lots of tables but spaced nicely and small counter area for watching sushi making.

Our family loves sushi and this restaurant does a delicious job! Favorites are white tuna nigiri (so so yummy), spicy tuna hand rolls, and spider rolls. Their specialty rolls are delicious too. Ginger salad dressing is yummy on the house salad.

The sushi here is great, but the "Japanese food" leaves something to be desired. It's probably not fair to compare this food to Rindo, the establishment which used to be in this space before they closed, because they served traditional Japanese food, and it spoiled me, and I miss it dearly. But if we compare it to other run-of-the-mill Japanese bar and grill places, it's not bad. To be clear though, I'm giving that fourth star because of the excellent sushi.

The food was amazing! Very well priced and you could tell the sushi was fresh. Tasted great, just wish the rice was a little more flavorful and less dry. Our waitress was really nice too. Will definitely be returning

Some things were really good others have the potential to be. Ordered crab Rangoon and the came out so oily, oil in the dumplings they were fried in cold oil. The house soup tastes of instant powder and that is just sad when a good broth is crazy easy to make... the sushi was delicious!!!!

Good, friendly service by a server who offered suggestions and and answered questions. Our drinks were refilled without asking. Recommend the Ichiban Roll, Salmon Sashimi, Steak and Shrimp Hibachi, the house salad and the house soup. Not a fan of the fried rice. The texture is more like steamed and it lacks flavor compared to other similar places. Will certainly visit again.

After trying all the sushi restaurants in Columbus, this is without a doubt the BEST. There are excellent menu selections of sushi, and an extensive offering of other Asian dishes. The sushi was fresh, very well prepared, and full of flavor for a great taste. Sushi here was made well. The rolls were prepared properly and didn't fall apart as so often happens in other restaurants. Service was friendly and prompt. This is a great place for business meals, out-with-friends, or family dining.

On a work trip from CA and was blown away by this place. Not only great, quality, flavorful sushi that rivals most i have had anywhere, but the prices were amazing. Had an appetizer, 2 great rolls, saki and a beer for $40. Can't beat it. Nice staff to top it off.

Super delicious foods at excellent prices. Staff is friendly to our large family. Very kind of them to provide kids chop sticks with rubber bands!!!Wish koi pond was 10x more awesome though.

I like to try something different here every time we come. They have such an awesome menu. Never any wait time hardly. Sushi is delectable and absolutely delicious. My go to place in all of Columbus. So much food for a very good price for the grade of sushi you get.

The atmosphere and food here are both amazing. The service is always so good. The entrees are a little slow, but you should expect that out of a place that uses fresh ingredients. Everything is cooked very well and so good.

Allison was the only server working, but she was still quick and very friendly. She didn't seem overly stressed and was very good at checking on me, or letting me know she'd be a few more minutes. Huge shout out to her as even with her juggling everything I was in and out in about 40 minutes.As for the food, the calamari was okay, but the sauce it came it with was top notch. Not what I was expecting, as I think it was a sweet chili type sauce, but it complimented the calamari wonderfully. The sashimi (salmon and red snapper) was very fresh and tasty, and the yellowfin and tuna rolls were the perfect ratio of rice to fish.Overall, if I ever pass through Columbus again, I will make sure to stop in again!
