Being a customer from the first opening of the Eastbrook Plaza location I was disappointed on my recent visit there on Dec 23rd . My overall reaction was that the staff were not happy to be working. I do not recall seeing a smile on anyone’s face and they talked with each other more than the customers. The assistant did come over to inform me that my order was waiting, however the barista had made two drinks for my order and when asked which was which she could not recall and had to remake the order. Unfortunately not as I originally requested. The food was equally doomed. My original order a Green goddess biscuit came without an egg. Rather than informing me and checking if I preferred something different when they interacted with me, they just presented me with half an order at the counter. Not the Lucabe I remember from the past!

I love Lucabe and go for dates, special treats, or just when I need a pick-me-up! Lucabes syrups are all gluten-free, which is super important as I'm very gluten sensitive. I also love that I can choose non-dairy milk because I'm dairy sensitive, too. Thank you, Lucabe, for being so accommodating to so many of us out there who have serious dietary restrictions but can still come to your place and enjoy a perfect matcha or latte!!

I go to the north end coffee shop several times a week. It’s an old bank renovated to a coffee shop and it’s awesome. Staff know my name and order. They are always friendly and engage in conversation. They also have a play area for kids to hang out and burn off some of the delicious treats. The baked goods are phenomenal. The facility is an open floor plan and lots of spots to sit and work or converse with friends. I love supporting small and local businesses and they will continue to get my support.
Parking: It’s in the corner of a huge shopping center with nothing around. Always lots of parking
Kid-friendliness: It’s super kid friendly with a play area and lots of good treats for the kids. They have juice boxes and bottle juice with no added sugar. The muffins are great for kids and the build your own biscuit makes it fun for them too.

The second location in town. The first one is in downtown. The staff is always very friendly amd welcoming. They have the best coffee in Indiana. Always my go-to place to work, grab a coffee or croissant 🥐. They have Great bakery products as well but I am all sold for 🥐. This used to be a bank and has a prime location. Lot of parking spaces.
