Firstly, our waitress Regina was amazing. We ordered two sushi rolls and crab ragoons and it was all very tasty. Some things we didn’t like was the guy making sushi told our waitress it would be an hour wait for our sushi. The restaurant was empty except for two other tables who were already eating. I’ve been going to pho Shiki for the better part of 12 years. The service over the last year alone is abysmal. These new faces, who are obviously no relation to the owners, provide poor service. I have always enjoyed the food from pho shiki as the quality has never changed. But the service alone will keep me from visiting near as often.
We got the hibachi combo for 2 and enjoyed our meal. The salad was pretty tasty and the hibachi was indeed salty, the meats all well cooked and we enjoyed both rice and udon. I really liked the way the veggies were cooked. I do wish I’d asked for a spicy sauce to take the heat up a little.
