Delicious daily menu offerings. Several vegetarian options that I love. Great deal with a sandwich, side, dessert, and drink for around $9. The veggie panini is great and tries to get you in and out as fast as you need. With all the buzz at lunch time, if you are on a time crunch, you may want to save this place for a different day.

The food at Pieper's is very good and they offer unique salads, soups, and sandwiches. I especially like the Caesar salad and tomato bisque. The downside is that the restaurant gets crowded at lunch time, so I would recommend going before 11:30 or after 12:30 in order to avoid a long line and long wait for your food.

I have been here many times, mainly for lunch and had some of the best sandwiches, soups and salads here. They use very unique ingredients, the bread is really special and tastes excellent. My top three favorites here are the buffalo chicken Panini sandwich, the tomato bisque soup and spring salad with honey dressing.

I really like this place! Their menu selection is small, but its unique and I really enjoy that uniqueness from time to time. I also like the decor of the restaurant, and the outdoor seating. Brittany is correct in that if you get there during a rush, the line can be slow..so go a bit early or go with some time to kill. However, everyone pays for their food when they order it, so I'm not sure why Brittany had a different experience. I definitely recommend that you try this place out for lunch.

I was supremely disappointed with my food (I didn't get lunch that day because my order was screwed up not once but TWICE), but my coworkers said theirs was good. This little lunch spot is a catering service turned sandwich/salad shop. I think the owner could benefit from spending a little time in an actual restaurant kitchen, because the ordering system (written down long-hand on a pad) and kitchen staff (slow moving ladies) aren't up to par for such a busy lunch place. The system is...walk in, wait in a (sometimes quite long) line to place your order at the counter. Go find a seat and wait (awhile, if they're busy) for your order to be brought out...they'll call your name. Wait in the line again after you eat to pay. The sandwiches are unique with quality ingredients and for $7.25 each sandwich comes with a tiny salad and a good-sized side dish (2 kinds of pasta salad, upgrade to large salad, soup). The sandwiches are also good-sized. You'll leave full. When the lady (the owner) took my order, I asked what was in the Moroccan Chicken Soup. She said "chicken" and stopped. I said "what else?" and her response was "chick peas...um..." Although the broth was lightly spiced and flavorful I would've chosen a different side had I known the bulk of the soup was tomatoes and artichokes (I don't like artichokes) with some couscous. I feel like the owner should've known the ingredients of the soup. I ordered my sandwich (muffaletta, I was excited!) "no lettuce, no tomato". This was repeated back to me and I watched it get written down. My sandwich arrived...it had been through the press with lettuce and tomato ON it, then those ingredients had been removed...kind of. There was lettuce melted into the cheese and tomato seeds pressed into the bread. I sent it back to be remade...and waited 30 minutes or so, without a sandwich. I then approached the counter (waited in line) to let the owner know I never got my food. She apologized, went into the kitchen, then came back and said "it's right there...we're wrapping it up now" several times, and I waited 5-6 minutes. She handed me my sandwich to go, said "No charge...again, I'm so sorry" and I hurried out the door to get to work. At the traffic light I had to wait, so I opened the box and took a bite. Lettuce and tomato on it! I brought it back, politely let her know I couldn't wait any longer, and went to work with half a bowl of soup for lunch. There are tables inside and a few tables outside on the sidewalk too. This is a long narrow restaurant, and it's easy to pass the door. It's right next to Tre Bicchieri (Italian restaurant with striped awning).
