Tucked in an alley in downtown Columbus, the name is spot on. Japanese owned and operated; a real gem for the city. Visiting Columbus? Traveling through on business? Need an authentic healthy meal? This is a great choice.

The staff were very friendly, and the rich broth reminded me of authentic ramen I had in Osaka, Japan. I’m so glad to have such high-quality Japanese ramen right here in my neighborhood.

Fantastic little place to get some good ramen with friendly service. Prices were reasonable and the place has a very nice atmosphere. The entrance is actually off of an alley which makes the name perfect.

Food is always amazing, staff is respectful, and the lady whom I think owns it or is a manager definitely puts tons of effort into remembering orders, checking on how your experience was and making the stop at their restaurant a good time. Highly recommend.

We visited Ramen Alley after a race, so we were very hungry. Ramen Alley makes some of the best ramen we've ever tasted! I had the Tonkatsu and the pork was so tender, the broth full of flavor and depth. My daughter had the mochi and it was fresh and delightful after a big bowl of hot ramen. Thank you for your hospitality of us travelers and we'll definitely remember you whenever we're in town! 🤍

This is my absolute favorite place in town to eat lunch at. The employees are very friendly the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very calming to me. I have eaten there at least 20 times and cannot stop going back. Keep up the good work and keep serving the best food in town.

Best Tonkotsu Ramen I’ve had in the state of Indiana. Friendly staff. Sweet spot with awesome live edge tables.

Tried out Ramen Alley today for lunch! The atmosphere was really cool and I loved the wooden tables. Service was good, everyone seemed happy. The FOOD tho, wow! I am a vegetarian and it was so nice to see meat free options (tho there are plenty of meat options and the place was pretty crowded with people enjoying the food but very respectfully). I've never really had Ramen, but wooow I loved it. I also loved the vegan gyosa, really yummy. The mochi was good as well. Will definitely be returning some time soon with a few people from work because (I cannot stress this enough) soooo good. Plus, prices aren't bad either!
The spicy Ramen isn't spicy, the broth tasted like tomato, and it was miso, toppings cold, tasted terrible I could not finish it, and it is 2nd to worse Ramen columbus next to yummy bowl. The gyoza were not bad, tasted store bought lf I want good Ramen I'll make the drive to Indy. Also, didn't have some menu items requested, was out of dango.
What a special treat to find an authentic Japanese ramen place in Columbus!!! The gyoza was excellent, the broth of the ramen sooooo savory, love that they have la-yu as a condiment, they have both calpico AND ramune as drinks, and lastly, DANGO on their dessert menu! Highly recommend for a quick lunch spot, to bring family or friends, or even a solo meal. They even have a punch card. ☺️
I loved it, food was good, atmosphere was great, I will admit the cost was a little higher than I would've wanted, but it costs so much because they actually have fresh and real food
