Bad service, food was terrible. Small portions for the price. There are better places to go in Columbus!

Used to love this place a few years ago, but the service has went down badly each time we go there’s an issue and they never offer a refund only to remake the food. (Tried twice within the past few years to give them a chance to do better) but When there’s a hair in your food you really don’t want it remade 🤢 we will not be back

We went here for lunch. Was only 1 other table(should've been a clue). Food was mediocre at best. Service was good. She was very attentive with removing plates and refills. Although she was kinda pushy even after I said no twice for my refill. Sushi was good. Crab rangoons were full of so much oil we had to turn them upside down on our plates to drain them. Lunch portions are decent size. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Food was very bland and greasy. Tempura was mushy, and the chicken on a stick looked and tasted as though it was unseasoned, died red, and cooked to weapon’s grade.

Great Chinese. We went on a Friday and there was fresh seafood and fish available. The owner came to the table and introduced himself, as did the chef. The waiters were very professional. food was excellent.

Had Singapore Mei fun and Thai Basil fried rice and sushi. Everything we had was very tasty.
Overcommitted staffs. My wife made a phone call at 12pm for a take out order at 12:45pm. When I arrived at 12:45pm, no one was at the counter. After waiting for 10 minutes, the owner showed up asking me "Dining in?". I said "No, I was waiting for a takeout that was supposed to be ready at 1245pm". The owner didn't respond and walked away.
After another 10 minute, a waitress asked me the same question and I repeated the same answer. She disappeared also. Concerning our food might not even be prepared, I called my wife and wanted her to cancel the order. When my wife called them, a waitress told her everything was ready. "Really? My husband stood there for 20 minutes and there was nothing" my wife replied. Then the waitress told her "Sorry we are too busy" and hung up the phone.
We understand that restaurants can be busy, but the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled were very disappointing. We feel so sorry to bother you during your busiest moment. We will stay away from Ruyi in the future to help you gain some bandwidth back.

Server good but a little difficult to understand. Lots of Asian people eating there so you know it's going to be good. Food was excellent. Dinner is all a la cart. Only at lunch do you get combo meals. Sushi very fresh. Loved their coconut lemon grass soup and crab rangoon. We'll be back!
