The people were extremely nice. The food however was not exceptional but it was good. The rice and beans were cold as of prepared a while before I ordered it. Otherwise this was a nice little restaurant.
Food is always good. Haven't been in 3 years but made a stop whilst in the area and glad we did.

Authentic Mexican dishes in the barrio. Locals eat here. We were the only gringos. Tacos with ground beef were generously filled, but so greasy that the soft corn shells tore, and we had to eat the filling with forks. We waited a long time for our check, maybe because the hostess/server also cooks, or she had regulars in the other dining room, and we were obviously tourists. If you're visiting, get your tacos to go, and ask for wheat tortillas, not corn.
