This was the first time in a couple years that I've eaten at Steak n Shake. I was shocked when I received my smashburger. It was paper thin and I don't know if you could call it meat or cardboard. It was like sitting there eating a bun. I know how a smash burger should be prepared and it's supposed to be thin with crispy edges but it's still supposed to be juicy in the middle. Mine was so thin it had holes in it and there was no juice coming from it at all. I had also ordered the chili and it was cold and tasted grainy. The most tasteless meal ever. It's not cheap to eat out as we all know but please, at least serve food that is pleasant and prepared properly. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

We haven't get Steak and Shake for a really long time ago! We decided to stop by! The food was incredible delicious and hot! We tried birthday cake shake and it was really good! I just will say the parking wasn't clean, was a lot of trash on the parking but can be fix!

I ordered Steak n Shake through Door Dash. I ordered 4 cups of Frisco sauce so that I could trade it for their special chili sauce. They don’t offer the chili sauce, for sale, on the app. I asked the DD Driver to ask Steak n Shake for the chili sauce instead. I paid for it. The Dasher was told there was already extra sauce on my chili 5-way. They did not complete my request. They gave me the Frisco sauce, not what I wanted.
This location’s service has gone down drastically, the past few months. If you want something particular, make sure you pick it up yourself so you can see that what you wanted was done. If not, they are just gonna do what they want and not worry about what you wanted, as the customer.
To spend over $40 and not get everything you wanted is just poor customer service!!!
