Delicious ramen. We ordered To-go and really enjoyed the broth. It had just the right amount of spice to it. The broth was like warm so I had to heat it up which is fine since boiling broth in a paper container sounds bad. But lots better than a plastic container.
One bad part is that I paid extra for vegetables but there were none.

Fun hibachi grill. Chefs cook in front of you and it’s a lot of fun.
They also have a sushi bar and regular sitdown dining.
Food is very fresh and cooked properly. Steak was a little on the tough side. Fried rice and noodles were excellent sautéed vegetables were great scallops were good as were the shrimp.
Parking: Plenty of street parking, but you might need to drive around a little bit. We ended up parking about a block away. This is on a Saturday night.

I have had raw fish Sushi and Sashimi at many restaurants in the US and Japan. For 7 years I worked for DiamondStar/Mitsubishi Motors in Normal IL and travelled globally with many visits to Japan, mostly in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Nagoya areas. I recently moved to Columbus IN and am working for Cummins Inc. When I go downtown to the Cummins office building, I have found I get a very delicious Sushi lunch with 12pc of freshly prepared Sushi and a small bowl of Miso soup for about $11. Apparently most Americans are not fond of having a lot of wasabi (Japanese horseradish) in the soy sauce they dip their Sushi into before eating, so I ask for additional wasabi and Taku provides it free of charge. My dad and I love going to Taku to eat 💙, it's one of our favorites. We have been going here for years. We went to and for my birthday which was March 1st. 💙🔥

We had the hibachi tonight. To start my salad came with a hair, I immediately told the server. The hibachi food was good but the portions were very small I had to ask for a side of noodles and it was still a small portion, the noodles were bland. Our chef was not too interactive, the other chefs around were way more interactive and fun.
Parking: There is a parking garage across from the restaurant.
Great food and service. My wife and I had the Hibachi service. I had the Samurai Special. She had the chicken and shrimp. Both with fried rice. Both were great. No complaints.
Had THE BEST food and service tonight. Our server, Matthew, was very attentive and polite. Best server I've ever had at any restaurant. Our cook was Imam and the food was absolutely delicious! My kids thought he was hilarious and really enjoyed him

Taku is one of my favorite restaurants in town! Always delicious, hot food and good service! My 5 year old hadn't tried it before so I got him some noodles. He loved them! I had the American Dream roll and a Philadelphia Roll, was fantastic!
Their hibachi is always absolutely delicious! Can't go wrong with anything you order here. All so good!
I split the Sushi boat with a buddy, We should've had one more person! Lol. It was very tasty and the sashimi was very fresh. I loved the hot sake. I would definitely return if I lived in Indiana.
