“The trip here from Lafayette is longer than we usually go for a meal but it was well worth the drive. The service was excellent. Wait staff paid attention to our needs and were actually ahead of our needs and wants. I loved the atmosphere. I felt as if I was stepping back into a fine old 1920 home where all rooms had become dining rooms. The Crab cakes were my favorite part of the meal, along with my dessert, creme brulee. The beef fillet was cooked exactly as i had requested. Too often restaurants don't seem to understand what medium done means. I like brussels sprouts anyhow but the fried version was a new and awesome treat. We will return.“
