The food could use some updates. I wasn't pleased with the food at all. I would love to give some recipes for success. a few simple things made in house would go a long way. The tenderloin was disappointing if you know about Indiana and tenderloins. My kids did not like the burgers. they said it taste like the frozen ones at walmart. My kids can be picky. Shakes was syrup. Ill keep an eye out for new advertisements and updates. till then best wishes. Its not our type of food.
I give 3 stars because the service was good. the atmosphere was decent too. the food sucks. Family of 8 and none liked it. we also spent like $110 fro all 8 of us to eat.

I always get great food at Kunkel's, they have so many great dishes to offer. Tenderloin, Burgers, Fries, Onion Rings, everything on the menu is delicious. Kunkel's is a fantastic place to eat and has car shows several times a year in their parking lot.

I bought supper for my family. The burgers were burnt around the edges. We were over changed and half our order was missing. The milkshakes tasted like nothing. Like lightly flavored ice. I am so disappointed. We have had good meals from there before, but this was a total disappointment.

We live in Rush County and have been going to Kunkel's for 24 years. They have the best pizza steaks, grilled tenderloins, BBQs, homemade onion rings, cheese cubes, and root beer floats. When my daughter lived near Buffalo, NY. and Western Nebraska, she missed Kunkel's so much that she'd have us bring her food from there, whenever we would visit. When she would visit she always wants to go to Kunkel's for a pizza steak and cheese cubes. 😊
