We had a wonderful experience today ( and every time) we visit. The brisket was so flavorful and tender!! My Daughs spud was delish with all the toppings! My husband had an all beef Frank which he devoured!! Dezaree has served us many times, she’s great, always attentive, upbeat, funny and can deal with my crazy husband’s humor!! We had came in acouple years ago and got a carmel apple drink Dezaree tried really hard to make that drink she is a great waitress. Food is amazing highly recommend.
2 times I have gone in there and they tell me they are out of ribs that is the only reason why I go in there and now they give you very little bbq sauce instead of the bottles what’s up with that need better management

We had dinner with some friends here, with whom we hadn't seen in awhile; and enjoyed the experience. This well-maintained facility has a comfortable, popular local eatery atmosphere. Our server, Drew, was friendly, humorous, accommodating and attentive; and a really good representative for the establishment. Both couples had the BBQ Tour; with ours having meatloaf, pulled pork, chicken wings, brisket and a hotdog for the meats (since by the time we ordered-5:15 pm- they were already out of sausage & ribs). The sides were as designated; baked beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw, etc. Everything was pretty good (especially the brisket & hotdog); and offered a nice sampling of their selections (with us hoping to eventually try the ribs & sausage). All and all, this was a great venue to reunite with friends; and share a decent meal.

We live about 150 miles from Converse but when we are in this area about 3 times a year this is our go to place. Always great food, owners are very friendly and interact with customers, and the servers are wonderful, our last interaction server wise was a young lady named Drew, ask for her, great job

We had some delicious brisket and other meats while in the area. While there, I purchased a small tub of the tallow to take home and loved it's smokey flavors when cooking or adding to ground beef after browning. I ordered 3 large tubs of the tallow to be delivered and Lindsay was very accommodating in making it happen.
