This place was absolutely fine dining at its best. The service was absolutely spot on. The food and atmosphere was so lovely. This is the place to eat and not just in Corydon but in Indiana. We need to send all food critics to this location. They will not find anything wrong. Food crooked when ordering none of that premade stuff.

My friend and I stopped by here on one wet, grey Wednesday afternoon in January. We were only really killing time before an event started elsewhere in this little town. The young, vibrant waitress was very keen to be of help even though we only really wanted a couple of drinks before moving on. I went for a Swedish cider and my friend opted for a soda. We resisted the temptation to eat, hoping to grab something somewhere else later that evening when we had more time. Nonetheless our young waitress wasn't perturbed and continued to chat with us amiably until her first real customers for that evening started to arrive. All very nice.

Fun fusion place in downtown Corydon. Interesting take for asian-southern fusion food. The menu has a good selection of vegetarian and gluten free options with entrees around $14-16 each. Great cocktail menu as well, I'm excited to see more options like this place coming to Corydon and succeeding! Good service from Amber as well.This is my second time visiting, and I came back because the first visit I tried their take on PB&J's which won me over, a wonderful PB&J! As well as phenomenal brussel sprouts with maple Thai sauce, highly recommend.

I discovered this little gem a couple of years ago. I often get the roasted vegetable salad.It's been different with the seasons. Jan 2023, there were brussels, beets, sweet potatoes, arugala, goat cheese and some slightly sweet jam. I added chicken, which was done to perfection. The flavors were amazing, it was so delicious!If you are not keen on vegies, try this salad, it might just make you fall in love.On the bottom of the menu, it tells you which farms produced the foods.It's lovely to get away from the MAD diet.

My brother in law and I went to 1816 tonight after making a reservation at 6pm, and had the most unbelievable experience that I've ever had. My brother in law had finished eating and I was still eating my ramen, and our server came up and asked if we'd like desert. We declined, but my brother in law ordered another drink. When the server returned with the drink, she then proceeded to tell us we had 5 minutes before we'd need to leave because they had another reservation waiting outside and they needed our table. I was still eating my dinner!! This was at 7pm. Then, after the five minutes was up, another employee came out and told us we needed to leave right now for the other reservation. At this point, I was beyond pissed. I told her why do we have to leave? There's two empty tables behind us. She stated they were going to use those tables along with ours to combine them together because that reservation was for a large group. I then pointed out that the table next to us had a family sitting there that had been there when we arrived and they weren't being asked to leave. They didn't have a response for that. I also stated how our reservation confirmation email showed that we were confirmed to be at the restaurant from 6-7:30 and it was only 7. Once again, no good response other than to say, they mismanaged the reservation. How is that our fault?? It was the most bananas thing I've ever experienced. The owner then came out and gave us a piece of "consolation cheesecake" in a to-go for having to make us leave. Truly unbelievable and we will NOT be returning and have spread the word to others.
