We saw the sign of the highway and decided to stop since we were not in a hurry. It was easy to find, but....the parking lot has 2 delapaded buildings (one wooden barn and one a stone structure) filled with junk that look like they could fall down at any moment. There was a faded sign pointing to a tasting room that was not visible from the parking lot. Being unfamiliar with the area, we left. They might have great wine, but the parking lot looking like a junk yard with 2 porta potties was not the relaxing afternoon I was looking for.
Had a really nice time Sunday the 20th of October. We picked out three wines that we liked spent the afternoon listening to the band, if I remember right music every Sunday in the summertime.
Love ❤️ Turtle ? run ? winery !!! The Sunday concert series is so enjoyable. Relaxed atmosphere, pretty scenery, good music, and friendly people make this a great choice for something to do on a Sunday. Many varieties and flavors of wine are available for tasting, and purchasing. You can buy food there or bring your own. Put your favorite lawn chair ? in the sun or shade, which ever you prefer, have a drink, relax, and listen to some good music. It is a great time to be had, and all free of charge !
This was our second time visiting Turtle Run and every wine we sampled was great! The service was fantastic and my kids had a great time on the playground!
While the wine is good, the staff are horrible. Hard to get service and when talked to, made to feel like you do not know anything about wine. Pompous at times
Experience here was fantastic the owner spoke of his wines and gave great information! After being here in the summer I drank all of it then could not stop thinking about the wine ! So I ordered my first order online! Can't wait to receive it! Great job Turtle Run Winery!
Am excited to return to Turtle Run, it's been a few weeks. Heading there shortly to join multiple friends and enjoy tunes by Nervous Melvin (with NO mistakes, hehe). What a beautiful day to spend at the Winery.
So excited to go next weekend. Was invited by Eric. Everyone says it is a fantastic place.
Great hosts for the Tour de Pork bicycle ride!
Don't pass up on this one, folks. Very cute little winey off the beaten trail. Very friendly and knowledgeable of their wines.

We just happened to wander up to this place because we saw a sign for it in Corydon. They have great, all-natural wines with no added sugar. The lady who does the tastings is really nice and the owner was there and was a hoot. He answered any and all questions we had and then some. He’s like the nutty professor of wine. Will definitely be back.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a great time!
These folks certainly know their wines, and are happy to talk about them to find what you like. LOTS of variety in their wines, without the added sugars. If you've had and enjoy European wines, this will be of interest to you.
It's a very cozy atmosphere as the tasting room is simple and small. Thankfully not a large tour bus stop. The variety and quality of wines is superb. The hospitality and interaction with the owner was excellent. Hands down (Thomas Family in Madison is a close second) the best experience and wine for a southern Indiana/Illinois winery. A bit of a drive from Alto Pass, but will definitely revisit asap this summer on our annual Shawnee Hills Wine Trail vacation.
