The Local catered my mom’s 70th birthday party last Saturday and let us use their dining room as the venue, and it turned out perfectly. I couldn’t have found a better indoor spot in the area for her garden party–themed celebration.
Stephanie was so easy to work with and incredibly patient. She recommended an amazing bakery for the cake (Fluffy Fellows Bakery) and had lots of helpful ideas for the menu when I was overwhelmed and needed guidance.
I grew up in the area but planned most of the party from my home in Chicago, so I had to just trust her, and everything came together beautifully. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. She made everything feel doable, even from a distance. I’m so grateful for her help. Covington is lucky to have her.

With the move to a food truck-style setup in Danville at VRBC, it will bring their incredible food to a whole new audience—snag a bite asap!

Kuri Tec Manufacturing has used The Local for our catering events over the past several years for Board Meetings, Christmas parties and Employee Appreciation dinners. Stephanie and her staff never disappoints. The food is always delicious and Stephanie presents it well and our employees are always commenting on how delicious the food is. There are always extras for the employees to enjoy later so no one goes away hungry. Stephanie accommodates all 3 shifts we have in Williamsport which is quite an undertaking as they will start serving dinner starting at 4:00 a.m. and the last shift serving at 8:00 p.m. Stephanie and her staff make it so easy to plan these events and everything is perfect down to the last detail. The Local knocks it out of the park every time. If you have a catered event The Local is your go to. You will not be disappointed!

If you've helped a friend set up for a graduation party (or have done so yourself) you know how stressful it is with so many other things going on. Graduation season is a freaking chaotic whirl wind. We hired The Local for our son’s grad party. (Venue and catering) I was SO GRATEFUL that all I had to do was show up and put up a few personal decorations. There was a diverse menu with options for every taste & budget. (Including AMAZING gluten free options!) Stephanie and her staff were professional, made sure everything was perfect and the evening went off without a hitch. The food and atmosphere were amazing and it was the perfect (non stressful!) party thanks to The Local! If you don't have your grad party (or any other organized event) planned yet, kick it off your plate and call Steph. (I also have to recommend The Local’s delicious and affordable “Take and Bakes” for an exceptional meal on a busy week night!)

The food was simply wonderful. The halibut was light and well prepared, the roast beef tender and perfectly seasoned, and the Parmesan chicken was delicious. The sides and desserts were also very fresh and expertly prepared. Each dish reflected both skill, high quality and thoughtfulness.
What also stood out was their attentiveness to the guests and the gracious manner in which they were all served. It made a meaningful difference!
