There was no silverware for our chili and salad, also there was so much sauce that it made my bread soggy so I turned it into a salad, just to realize that I didn't have silverware to enjoy it. Also, they put the other customers togo box in a much more sturdy bad than mine. It definitely made me feel less than. The disorganization is just too overwhelming to me, I probably won't think of second city again when I want to have a nice lunch with my friend again, because I don't want this to happen again. And it feels cramped in there too.

My friend and I went to this restaurant because we were looking for a good lunch, something kinda new, a restaurant we hadn’t already been before. It was difficult to find as there are no signs put on the street and it just blends in, but nonetheless the waitress (who I believe was the owner) was so friendly when we came in. We got seated immediately and it was a quiet, cozy yet lively atmosphere. We got our orders in not long after we sat down and got our drinks, and the wait was pretty decent. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap and dill pickle soup which was absolutely soo delicious– best sandwich i’ve ever had. The soup complimented it very nicely. My friend got the special of the day, fajita pasta and that was pretty tasty as well. The price was perfect, very much worth it. I will be coming back for more !! 4/5?

Good place to grab a bite to eat. They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and soup. Friendly staff makes for a nice visit. They also have paintings from a local artist on their wall.

We stopped for lunch with our married child and loved this place. Their chili hotdog was excellent, the turkey/avocado melt was delicious, and so was the spinach salad. For a small town cafe, you get great service, atmosphere, and quality food.

All the way from Brodnax, Va and stumbled upon this gem. The food is delicious. Tried their special Hawaiian macaroni salad and it was delicious!

Quaint eatery on main street. Had a smaller menu probably to serve best quality food. They had several different seating sections over old flooring circa 1900 probably. The food was delicious. one waitress to serve all. She was chipper and smiling the whole time
