Got food poisoning here from steak n eggs. Do not recommend.

The atmosphere is severely outdated and looks dirty. Service was ok, no complaints there. BUT THE FOOD.... absolutely awful. I got steak and eggs and both tasted off.. I even gave a bite to my boyfriend who also agreed it tasted weird. Lo and behold, two hours later, my breakfast was coming out of both ends. And I know it was that place. I got the vibe that the diner probably attracts most of the city's seniors & serving that kind of food is going to hurt one of them eventually, if not already. The health department should look into that place(looking at other reviews.. it seems as though theres a lot of unsanitary things going on there).

I root for this place to get its act together. I've been coming here since 2018. It's homey. But that's not everything. It needs more than the recent cosmetic renovation.
The Forum is open every day from 6:00 to 9:00. That's an advantage over The Breakfast Company which is open til 3:00. And Forum serves dinner, as well as breakfast and lunch. The food is fairly good.
First off, bring your flyswatter. I have my suspicions as to how they get in, but I'll keep that to myself.
The men's restroom is filthy. Staff use the restrooms. You have to grab the old, dirty, flimsy door by the handle to leave the restroom. There are no paper towels available to grab the handle and no foot pad to pull to door open. The door(s) should have been replaced long ago with something more hygienic. The restroom goes into the kitchen.
The servers very nice. No issues there. Some servers have been there a very long time and some feel as I do.

I was at this restaurant on 9/05/25 with my grandmother. We sat in a booth right by the register. I was bitten on the ankle while in the booth. It was a brown recluse and I am now 7 days into a severe medical situation. Please be mindful. This establishment should be doing daily cleaning of the floors and booths to prevent situations like this. I now have multiple medical bills stemming from this one visit. Please be careful.

no air conditioning. was super hot, servers were also complaining about owner not fixing it. very uncomfortable

Just about the only place in town. The men's bathroom, I just about fell walking in the door. There is so much moisture in there. That it's built up on the ceramic tile floor. Someone's gonna have a lawsuit when they fall down in there.

The atmosphere of the place seemed to be a little outdated, the service could have been a little better, Waitress was forgetting things. When we went there they were out of chicken noodle soup, anything that had to do with alfredo sauce, no dinner rolls 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had ordered popcorn shrimp and fries. The fries were disgusting they probably should change their oil. I don't know what they consider cocktail sauce but the cocktail sauce I received was like jello. I was afraid to even eat it because I probably would've gotten sick. They told us that's how they make it and I don't think so because it wasn't even cold it was warm 🤦🏻‍♀️ this place was definitely a no from me!!!

Food was just bad. No other words to describe it. Waitress was disinterested at best. Ordered parmesan chicken, got something lasagna like that tasted like canned Chef boyardee. Husband ordered beef strogaoff. He got bowtie pasta covered with canned beef gravy. Smell of cigarettes smoke was strong and just not a good experience. No apology offered for bringing the wrong food and tho they took it away immediately they made no effort to replace it or refund anything.

I had breakfast here this morning before going on a rather difficult hike. Gave me the energy I needed! They were so attentive. Very nice family restaurant.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. My Mac and cheese was disgusting, and my mom's Ruben tasted off. My server seemed put out by our request. The decor/the whole restaurant was very dated and came off as dirty. My family and I will not be back. What a waste of money and time.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly waitress, inexpensive yet large portions. I highly recommend the chicken and rice soup! It's worth the trip to get away from fast food. We'll definitely be back!
