After a long day I decided to get my favorite pizza , keep in mind ive have visited this particular aurelios on a normal basis over the years birthday parties, and other occasions , we ordered a family size pizza for pick up , we called in at 6:28 pm and she said the pizza will bring ready by 7pm. i live 5 minutes away and when my fiance got home the pizza it wasn't hot it was room temperature , so i called and talked to the manager on duty told her the situation and she said that she would make another Pizza if I'd like, I explained we ate few pieces, and I really didn't want to drive all the way back even though it's short drive. It's the principal, so I took her up on the offer , and arrive to pick up my Pizza. It gets better... so I arrive to pick up my pizza and they told me that they're giving me a large instead of a family pizza because we ate a few pieces, I was floored that they downgraded my order now instead of doing the right thing and remaking my family Pizza like they said over the phone.
She explained that's their policy , WOW!!! So it's my fault that I had a few pieces because I was starving. And I called them, and they told me they're gonna make me another one.And then I get a smaller size, this is a far cry from going above and beyond
Very poor management poor judgment and extremely poor policy . I've never had an issue. Pizza was always on point but when you pay what you pay which it's not a cheap pizza and I have no problem with because I enjoy aurelios pizza , by the reading of a lot of your reviews and mine being one of them. Now maybe you need to work on your management.Maybe get new management. If this is the way you treat customers, also I asked to talk to the head manager and never got the opportunity. I asked them to have her. Call me before the evening's over. Had to call multiple times to talk to Tammy.
The last call was she left at 8pm so if they don't have enough urgency to do the right thing to return phone calls for complaints is another reason. Why I will not return to your establishment? And I will spread the word. Maybe you don't care. You'll probably laugh about this review because I can see how loose and laxative your employees are on taking care of customers properly And rightly , i hope you guys can get it right for future customers. Because the way the economy is you go above and beyond to take care of customers to keep customers for life.

Whoever was answering the phone the evening of Saturday, October 25 needs a lesson in customer service and manners. We’ve been ordering pizza from here weekly for years; after the way I was spoken to tonite, never again. We’ll give our business to Gelsosomo’s from now on.

The manager will only open one table for eat in, she said you will have to wait until the one table leaves to be seated. There were six of us!
No thanks and will never order another pizza from the Crown Point restaurant. Maybe you should post a sign saying carry out only.

Food was good. Not the best but pretty good. The server accidentally knocked my iced tea and it spilled all over me. They never brought me a refill. When I asked to have the $3.00 removed from my receipt they came back and said that the server asked and I said no. She never asked me for a refill so it was their word against mine. I just paid the $3.00 for it, its just $3. I am pretty frustrated about it.

Something happened to Aurelio's pizza in Crown Point. New ownership? Wrong pizza, bad experience
I got the sausage and cheese pizza with black olives. Very Good pizza but the main downside is that the buffet is only open on Tuesday after 4pm and the dining room is only open early on weekends at 11am. Orders before 4pm are mostly carryout.

Yeah, the staff seemed really friendly when I came in, which was nice. But honestly, the service was a total letdown, unfortunately. I sat there for ages and nobody even acknowledged me past the staff at the front, so I just left. Plus, it was freezing inside, which is nice for hot summer days but depends on the time of year when you come here.

Aurelio’s is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever eaten!
I’ve tried several different locations in Illinois and Indiana, a bit different taste at each, but still delicious

Aurelio's is my favorite pizza chain in Chicago land. The food and service were excellent, my favorite is #22. The service was excellent and the food exactly as I expected. The crown point location is a bit small but accommodated our large group for Saturday lunch.

Ordered 3 deep dish pizzas (a cheese, a sausage/pepperoni, and a spinach/mushroom/garlic). All 3 were baked to perfection. The crust is golden and buttery. Each bite has been perfection. Remember to ask for red pepper flakes if you don't have any--chef's kiss. Several of the younger kids thought the sauce-on-top looked yucky but they eventually gave them a try and loved them. Every single one of the picky eater kids are now deep dish lovers. Thanks!!
