Authentic Chicago Thin Crust Pizza in Chicago. The wings were good too. Cute dining room reminds me of a real Chicago pizzeria. I highly recommend the Sausage and Giardinera.

I am a diehard Beggars fan! I am originally from Blue Island, Illinois but have lived in Ohio for the past 20+ years. While visiting my Dad in Merriville we decided to get Beggars for dinner! I am beyond disappointed in the quality of food we received! I have had a couple bad experiences at this location but my Dad assured me that it had improved! I will never go to this location ever! If you were looking for quality ingredients and quality toppings, go to the Lansing location! I would rather eat crappy pizza from Ohio or even New York style pizza before I ever go back to this location! This is the ONLY Beggars location I have been to that has done an absolute disgrace to the brand!

First time ordering the Italian beef sandwiches and I will definitely be getting from now on. The bread was soft, the neat was tender and not salty which is amazing because my family has heart problems. The au jus was perfect, not salty at all . My family and I absolutely loved it. P.s thank you for not putting salt on the fries they were excellent.

I ordered a sausage easy onion easy green pepper well done all I received was a well-done cheese pizza...the manager Lexi? Said I could keep the pizza and receive a $10 credit or they would remake it for me so I had to leave the house twice because of their mistake so I had to take the pizza that my family already started eating off their plates and return it assuming they're just going to throw it out mind you it was 3° on a Sunday barely got an apology they can stuff their sorries in a sack I'm never ordering from them again

Called to get a delivery. Girl who answered the phone was very rude to me and hung up on me! I decided to call back and a different girl answered the phone and was nice and took my order with no problems. I thanked her for being kind and not hanging up on me. Had an online offer for a free small Pizza with the family sites I ordered 2 once I got to the store to pick up, they would not honor the online offer even though it had an expiration date of that day, they said it was only good for Monday through Wednesday. My son in law brought the pizza home saying that I was charged. I called them. They said there was nothing they could do about it call corporate. But they didn't have the number to corporate so I looked it up. There is no corporate number. You cannot file a complaint with corporate. called to talk to general manager today.And she gave me nothing but run round, so watch your receipts.Beggars will overcharge you. Spoke with Gabby and the general manager, Jill jill just kept talking around in circles and then accused me that I kept changing my story. Well, that's pretty much calling me a liar. Crown Point location does not cooperate or has any customer service skills.All it is is about profit , not about the community or the customer

Had awful service a couple of years ago and hadn't been back. Tried to give them another shot today and they failed miserably. Stood at the hostess station next to the please wait to be seated sign for 10 min and no one ever came so we left. So maybe we will try again in a couple more years. Thankfully Tomato Bar has never failed us.
