Food was awful ? chichen had a bad taste pork, well really didn't have any in my combination meat fried rice. Asked for extra meat. Only got the awful chicken. Veggie egg roll had only cabbage. What a waste of $23.00 never again. I Will go back to the place in Schererville much

Walked in to pick up my order and I could smell they had been smoking!!! I thought that was against the law! I'm allergic and passed off. Won't be going back.

I tried China King for the first time and got takeout. I tried both the pork and shrimp egg rolls, happy family, and moo goo gai pan. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! The lady working the front counter was very friendly. My only complaint was that the interior smells really strongly of cigarettes, but it is just takeout anyway and did not affect the food at all. I will definitely be back!

After moving from Illinois 6 months ago, we have found China King to have the best Chinese food we've found so far. I do have to give the plain fried rice a zero star though. In my mind, plain would mean no chicken, pork, shrimp etc. It would still have egg, green onion, bean sprouts, etc. Not just colored rice. That being said, the food is really good.
Unfortunately, I keep trying to find a dish here that is prepared as well as other Chinese restaurants and this place is just mediocre at best. My dish of chicken mei fun noodles was sticky and dry (no moisture really), pork egg rolls with just cabbage, spring rolls with just cabbage and over cooked crab rangoons. Their shrimp egg rolls were decent though and so is their white rice.

Will never order from here again. The food is not good and screwed up my order. $75 order what a waste. They were suppose to fix the wrong entree and give us our missing stuff. Never did. We will never order from here again!!!

Food is amazing when you get the right things! Their mei fun rice noodles are always good, especially when you like spicy - Singapore mei fun is delicious! Lo mein soft noodles are always fragrant and delicious also! Great family owned resturaunt.Not the best sit-in resturaunt but that is no problem with me!
