Five Star Thai Cuisine and Grocery

We just had dinner at Five Star Thai Cuisine. What a delight! We have tried some of the other Thai places in the area and none hold a candle to this restaurant. Such authentic flavors! We lived in Thailand, and this is like popping into one of the local corner places in Bangkok. We will definitely return!

Over the phone ordering was good. The guy I spoke with was helpful with suggestions. I have gotten 5star a few times before and flavor was lacking. However this time everything was perfect! I got the Tom Yum soup added glass noodles and chicken put the spice level at a 3. It was sooo goood! Got some panang curry with chicken at spice level 2 and that was good too. I just wish the curry was a little bit thicker. I’m about giving a couple chances before I say no more to a place unless I have a terrible experience. Glad I tried again.

Nice quiet place, good service and the food was great. I had the egg rolls and pork fried rice 5☆ pretty spicy.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and have been know to eat there twice in the same day! The food, customer service, and atmosphere are all amazing! I would recommend the drunken noodle extra noodles and extra shrimp, 5 star spicy! Well worth the burn! I have yet to have anything that I haven’t liked! The prices are awesome as well! I can’t recommend 5 Star Thai enough! Hands down my favorite restaurant!

Ordering the food over the phone wasn't terrible...but I wish the quality and taste of the food were better.

I had a taste for Thai food - specifically pad Thai which is one of my favorite dishes. I ordered that along with the Thai basil fried rice (was to be a bit spicy) and was severely disappointed.

Both dishes tasted similar. If I was blindfolded I probably wouldn't be able to pick which was which.

I didn't dine in - this was carry-out. The restaurant itself looks small.

I did take out today. I ordered the Kow Soi, the Beef Noodle Curry which was advertised for $17.00 on the chalkboard as you was walk in.
I didn't pay attention and I was overcharged and charged for beef!???!! Not happy. ? Was too expensive for what I got.

Excellent Thai food, always fresh and nice selection. My place to go for Pad Thai!

This has become our regular Thai place. The food is excellent and service is excellent. We love all the curries and satay, and love all the specials, especially anything with mussels. It is also great to stock up on the market to cook at home.

This was my go to Thai restaurant for years. I always order red curry with chicken but the last 2 times I have ordered, I have gotten very sick. I am lactose intolerant and never have issues with coconut milk based sauces. We ordered take out last night and the sauce appeared separated/curdled. Five Star Thai must be supplementing the sauce with milk now instead of pure coconut milk. Beware if you have issues with dairy.

Love this place. The food is super tasty and delicious! I ordered the Pad See Ew and it is a go to. The mango sticky rice was 10/10 so so so yummy! I will be back.
