Lucrezia Italian Ristorante

Highly recommend, this restaurant is always phenomenal!!! We had the stuffed shells and beef wellington last night. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was spot on.

Nestled in an old home, this is top notch dining in the Hub. Great place for an intimate dinner or for a gathering of friends. Since it is an old house the seating it spread around so if you are there for a more intimate gathering, you will not be dominated by a rowdy get together of long lost friends. In the warmer months, the patio is pleasant.

Busy night - was able to get a table right away. Vibrant, and somewhat noisy in the main (elevated) dining room ... even with being so busy, Tony and Julian took tremendous care of the table. Water glasses were never less than half-full, food was brought out speedily (and never rushed), everything was piping hot, and we were checked on throughout our time there. Tremendous, engaging service and terrific food. Highly recommended.

Place is a disaster. 20 minutes late on pick up order, another 10 minute wait to pay. A super loud and obnoxious server yelling to the entire place how she dined and ditched a place when she was young in uniform to another server right in the middle of the floor. Pretty sure she was drunk. Food is mediocre at best, not worth the hassle.

Had birthday dinner and the food was so delicious! Service is outstanding and very friendly. What a wonderful experience!

We were seated directly in front of the very nosey kitchen, maybe consider doors there. Staff were also sitting at table by entrance and also loud, maybe provider a break space? We came for a nice dinner & I left with a headache. Food was good, our server was great but that entryway seating needs some attention. I consider lucrezia an upscale restaurant and frequent the Chesterton location however I’m unsure if I’d visit the CP location again.

We had a catering lunch at the Crown Point location. Beautiful room, fantastic food, top notch service! Tony and his crew were superb! All my guests commented on how fantastic the service was. Food was as on-point as it ever was! We are big fans of both the Chesterton and Crown Point locations. A truly unique experience in the NWI region!

This place disappointed us so bad! The seating is horrible, we felt like we were randomly set out in the middle of the room, no privacy at all! The atmosphere was SO DANG LOUD! The food was not anything we thought! We had to send a whole entire meal back because how awful it was and get a whole different meal! (Which at that point just did spaghetti as a safe option because who messes up spaghetti!) That was also mediocre. Neither of us finished our meals and didnt do to go boxes. This just wasn't the place for us! If you like mix matched awkward seating, THE WORST Alfredo and a loud no privacy getting bumped in the arms by people passing by kinda place then yes this is your place!

Not ADA accessible, will save you the time/embarrassment walking to the entrance to realize to get in you have to get up the stairs. I even gave the benefit of the doubt and my husband went in to ask the hostess if they had another entrance which they said no. So if you use a walker, or a wheelchair or are unable to walk up stairs sorry but this restaurant does not accommodate you. Ps read another review about the outdoor being accessible but if it was true the hostess would of sat us outside, but was just rejected and told nowhere I could dine there with a wheelchair. If you are handicap you are not welcome here.
Update: glad they responded sorry we could not seat you outside but was not even offered that option or the fact about the back door. Train your staff better instead of making excuses why handicap customers are turned away. Why did i not contact you? Because we were outside and no concern was made just turned away without trying to make any accommodations or atleast someone beside the hotess helping us. Well glad to know when it was built but every other building also built around that time period has handicap accessibility to enter/ not an excuse unless every other building built around that time period in crown point was also not accessible. another customer left same review about being turned away because of their disability a few months ago, think twice before supporting this business

How bout Italian tonight? Lucrezia Italian Ristorante in Crown Point is an awesome choice if your travels lead to northern Indiana.

The origin plan was to eat light. I'm not sure how I did on that front, but Ii did manage to stick with appetizers and bread !

I started with the bread service, which came with an oil sold in their related business store... Olivezia.

Then it was on to the meatballs. Very tasty.. served with a marinara sauce inside of a pasta shell. Yum !

So good that I had to eat some more...and decided to go with the scallops. The scallops were perfectly done,, and were accentuated by an awesome sauce.. ... it's always the sauce...
