My wife had a sharp sliver of metal in her crepes that she found as she started chewing. Thankfully she didn’t swallow it, it was big enough to cause damage. The manager was notified, but did not come to the table. They didn’t offer to get her something else and weren’t going to take it off the bill either until my wife said she wouldn’t pay for something she wasn’t able to eat. Terrible handling of the situation and a very unprofessional way to treat a customer.

I have been here a few times recently and it was good, until today. I ordered crepes with strawberries and when I took a bite, I bit into a piece of hard sharp metal. The only thing I could think of it was from a can that the strawberries came from. My daughters and I tried very hard to get the waitresses attention. When she came back all she did was bring us the bill. Not to check on us and our food. When I told her and showed her the metal piece on my plate she told the kitchen and manager and owner. She said they just said they don’t know how it got there. I was floored that the manager never came over to say anything about this. Had I swallowed this, it definitely would have caused issues. I refused to not pay for the meal, was never offered a new meal or anything so I did not eat. They also did not come to refill coffee till I said something when they brought the bill. Their lemonade was like water but after everything that happened we didn’t even bother to say something. The waitress did apologize, but the metal piece in my food was not her fault. Me and my family will not be coming back. Very disappointed in how this was handled. They acted as if I was lying even though the metal piece was on the plate for them to see.

I recently visited this restaurant after a few years and was disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered the chicken and waffles, but the chicken was tough and chewy, not at all as I remembered it from my previous visits. On the bright side, the staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was what I expected from a cozy mom and pop restaurant. I hope they can improve the quality of their dishes because I would love to have a better experience next time.
