We have had multiple family parties here, it’s always a wonderful experience. They have the private room, which is perfect for our gatherings. The appetizers are really good, and the pizza & variety is just so delicious. My fam had my surprise party here this weekend & everyone raved about the pizzas. This is why we continue to have our family events here. Highly recommend!

On my first visit, both pizzas had very little cheese. My two-ingredient pizza had a very small amount of my two toppings. When I pay an extra $15 on a non-special day, I expect more than fifty cents worth of value.
I came back for the special, and the cashier tried to gouge me an extra $15 for two ingredients on one pizza. It's 2 for twenty dollars, and they want fifteen dollars more to add two ingredients to one pizza! The pizza itself is ten dollars! After strongly disagreeing with the cashier who refused to change the price, the manager corrected the price.
At least they have a tasty pizza.

This place is a hidden gem! We got the Margherita pizza and it was excellent but what exceed our expectations even more was the customer service. An amazing staff - everyone from the host was super kind and welcoming. We sat at the bar so we had the pleasure of having Kayla (the bartender) and she was incredible! One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I got a pizza from here for carry out, I'm a big guy I've eaten a lot of pizza. This pizza is in my top 3 now. I wish I could have a bigger pizza just for myself. 10/10 I'm getting more of this pizza soon.

The food is always amazing, especially the appetizers. Our server Hailey is amazing as-well. Had her 3 times and have gone 3 times, she does an amazing job, checking in and just being a good server. the food was so good, and loved the smokey taste.

If pizza could be a love affair, Battista’s would be my guilty pleasure. From the moment that first slice touched my lips, I knew I was in for something dangerous, something… irresistible. The crust? Oh, baby, it’s firm but soft in all the right places. Every bite had me moaning—out loud. Yeah, that’s right. It’s that good.

The sauce? Let’s just say it’s smoother than a well-rehearsed pickup line, and when it mingles with the cheese, they dance together in a slow, seductive waltz on my tongue. By the time I got to the pepperoni, I wasn’t sure if I was still at a pizza joint or a romantic rendezvous. I could feel it… deep. You know, that satisfaction.

Battista’s doesn’t just serve pizza; they serve you an experience that’s saucier than your Saturday night plans. If you haven’t tried it yet, get yourself there—just be prepared to get a little hot and bothered. 🍕🔥

Let's start with the people. It's a legit family run business. Pops slinging some killer dough. Melissa is holding down the front house and many other things. They got the kids dishing out quality food everytime.

Now on to the food. We are a little bit spolied with good pizza being so close to Chicago and a lot of great pizza in town. I'd say just in Crown Point, we have four spots that absolutely kill. My top two are this location and tomato bar. They both have a very good dough that sets them apart with Battistas using the highest quality ingredients. Quality in ingredients comes through on every dish I've tried. Pizza, Alfredo, various breads, hell the sandwich are unreal. I've never been to Italy but this place teleports you with the food and atmosphere.

The atmosphere is very cool. Inside a old building, entrance on the alleyside has you wondering what you are about to walk into. It has a beautiful bar area with some awesome colored walls coming off that bar. They have enough seating to sit a very large party with a little notice. They also have a little grocery store in the back with some deli meats and various other items that use in the kitchen for sale.

I'm writing this two days after eating there with my family because I'm hungry and want more of it. I told my boys this is the best pizza in the state, and they corrected me by saying it's the best in the world.
