I never really leave reviews, but this definitely called for one. The Pork Belly bao was burnt to a crisp, and I was unable to even bite into it. The egg in the bowl was also burnt. I typically eat anything, but the bao and egg were inedible.

Delicious food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Very generous ramen bowl portions and super flavorful. All the dishes are carefully prepared and look like works of art. The drinks are beautiful, tasty and filled with amazing spirits. This place is awesome and highly recommended it.

For those saying the egg in the ramen was cold, that's literally how ramen eggs are served. No complaints about that. This restaurant is ramen for people who don't actually like ramen. Strange fusion dishes adding smokey or Latin flavors. Not enough ramen choices and strange toppings like broccolini made what was available unappetizing. I got the Dandan noodles and they were very spicy but lacked actual flavor. I don't like heat just for heats sake there needs to be FLAVOR. The appetizers we got were good. But for a place called ramen district the ramen left much to be desired. Atmosphere is cool but chicago prices in crown point indiana not so much.

One of our favorite places to go to on the Square! We have been blown away by there food and the portions are so big its a fantastic date location. You get to have an appetizer, meal and some drinks and its nice not to break the bank. Service is wonderful, super kind staff and great owners! The atmosphere is also really quant, its got a cool bar area and the seating is refreshing. Great splashes of color! Will recommend this place!

Food is amazing and so are their cocktails! We always get their bao appetizer. We just ordered their brussel sprout app and it was so good! I go back and forth between their ramens depending on if I want something spicy or savory. Menu is not really kid friendly and they have limited seating, so on busy weekends it can fill up fast.

I didn't feel like they had enough on their menu. I tried the pork belly ramen and it was alright. Not very flavorful or aesthetically pleasing. The bao bao appetizer was very good. Sake tasted great but was ridiculously expensive. It also was poured into a cocktail glass instead of the traditional shot glass, which is weird to me. Just felt very Americanized not authentic. Service was pretty good, and the food came out quick!

4 words- Pork Belly Bao Buns. OMG! Ramen was fantastic! Husband ordered the drunken noodles that he enjoyed with a Japanese whiskey recommended by the bartender. Staff was friendly, prices were good, can't wait to go back!!

Freakin' excellent... all of it! Not only was the food out of this world , the portions were ginormous! Absolutely loved eating in the hallways that John Dillinger once roamed as well on his way to his cell. I've seen the downstairs of the old courthouse when I was a kid back in the 80s and I love what they've done with the place!! it was my husband's birthday so he selected a very nice Japanese whiskey as they do have a very nice selection of sake and whiskey as well as craft cocktails. As for the food we started with the smoked wings. The marinade was black, garlic, maple and saki sprinkled with a nice tuxedo, sesame seed and oh my wow!!! The flavors were outstanding, probably the best wings I've had in years! The wings were also super meaty and juicy and they bring out steamed towels for your hands, a nice touch. My husband enjoyed the chef special of the evening which was a black truffle Ramen bowl with oyster mushrooms, snow peas, bean sprouts, and a little pork belly and oh so good! Definitely worth the 15$. I couldn't choose as usual, because there was so many things I wanted to try. I had studied the menu before wanting to have the Thai fried rice with the crab, but they were out of the crab so I asked the server what his favorite things were, and I chose one of them which was the Birria Ramen. It was unreal right down to the tiny little details. There was no way I could finish the broth as it was pretty rich, however, extremely good. I highly recommend Ramen district. We will be back and time again especially because the great service sealed the deal! He was super helpful , attentive and friendly.... Plus he has good taste in old punk music. It was cozy, not too loud and we made sure to ask the server questions. Check it out

I had been wanting to get into Ramen District since moving to the area and finally came in for dinner on Thursday night this past week. It was delicious! My friend had Dan Dan Noodles which he said were great, and I could not decide between the pork belly and smoked chicken ramen, so I ordered the pork belly and added chicken to it. Smart choice! It was very hot, fresh, and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back!
