Moved to the area recently and took a nice Saturday walk with family to try Sip out. Sat outside and all enjoyed a light breakfast with specialty latte or smoothie. Will make this a favorite to support local business.

The inside is very nice and atmospheric. Gives heavy grandmother's house vibes. The staff is very friendly as well. I have not tried their food but their drinks are very good. The only downside is there was no place to sit down because the place was packed!

I worked there in my early 20’s — terrible experience. Unfortunatly there was discrimination based on my race. I had been yelled at by the owner for a mistake on her management my first week. It truly could have been a case for the court, alrhough due to my age I hadnt know better. I was treated poorly taken for granted many times and was put against my team at the end of my employment — I recieved a wonderful offer from a new job and instead of congradulations and celebration I was revoced from my employee of the week/month & my fellow crew members were told I was fired. How unfortunate this was & how poorly this establishment has been run — fyi the owner is very close to the food inspector, there are many things left under indistry standard especially in its kitchen. I suggest you are careful if you order food, have food allergens, etc.there close connectin with family in the business means there is a lot that is not accounted for (ie: i worked with her nephew and he did not wash dishes with soap! I shared with management and nothing changed)again, it is a poorly ran cafe with great employees who unfortantly are underage and do not know better — be careful

Had the lucky goat here, absolutely great coffee! Really nice atmosphere, overall very nice staff and management. Definitely a nice little homey hole in the wall to check out :)

So if you’re a coffee connoisseur I would say this is not your place. If you like average coffee, then you will enjoy this one. My milk was definitely scolded and anything that comes in a 20 ounce cup or larger is not a craft coffee, but rather a cup just to get your coffee fix in the morning. I would much prefer a craft coffee any day with properly steamed milk. The atmosphere is a little drab. I prefer something a little more cheery and bright. We did not try any of the food so I can’t write that. I’m sure that’s tasteful

Really great staff and a wonderful atmosphere! But as far as the coffee goes, the milk is steamed too hot for lattes and the milk texture is super bubbly instead of silky and creamy. I also ordered a cortado which is supposed to be a 4oz drink, and it filled up 3/4 of a 16oz cup (which is obviously way more than 4oz) I also asked for it less hot, and instead of steaming the milk to a lower temperature, the barista put a ice cubes in the cortado which is definitely not the way to do it.So all in all: atmosphere and staff 10/10, coffee 4/10

The staff is patient and friendly, the food is delicious, and the menu includes options for all manner of preferences and restrictions.On a late Sunday evening, scooting in from out of town, a bowl of French onion and half a Yard Bird sandwich hit the spot. In the chilly February weather, cocoa would have been perfect ... but as I'm allergic to chocolate, I ordered the white hot chocolate (confident there would be no cross-contamination after mentioning the allergy) and it was spot on!
