My family and I absolutely love the place. The coffee is so good, place is clean, cute and modern. Definitely a go to for a coffee snob. I haven’t really tried the food but my hunny likes the scone as long as it has enough frosting on top. The service is also great. Prices are not bad. I do wish they had different sizes for different drinks and better parking. Also I’d love a drive thru. Hopefully they can do some expanding soon but it’s understandable for a small business. I also think the little plants to the side are cute.

After a big disappointment at a nearby coffee shop, I was super excited to find this place! We are in town for some sports and it’s always important to start your morning off with a good cup of coffee. Small town coffee company knows how to do it well! They also have a great variety of baked goods, hand, pies, and crêpes. This is a one stop shop in the morning, and we will be back!

Smalltown is one of the best coffee shops / roastery in NWI. Great ambiance, great people, great coffee. I also buy their beans for espresso at home and they consistently have fresh roasts available.My only feedback is that I wish they were open later in the day.Overall, A+!

This place almost has everything I'm looking for in a coffee shop: great roasts and drinks, good pastries, and nice seating area. Unfortunately there is a fatal flaw for anyone that is looking to sit down for an hour to do any computer work. The guest wifi is at best, extremely slow and at worst, completely unresponsive. It's a wonderful place to go with friends or doing things with mobile data, but unfortunately any computer work requiring a stable wifi connection will fall flat.

Literally everything about Smalltown Coffee is beyond amazing. From the drinks to the community - this coffee shop is hands down my favorite! The environment is super welcoming and the staff really goes above and beyond to connect with their customers on top of making a bomb drink! Going in to get my iced vanilla with oat is the highlight of my mornings!

So glad I stopped by this coffee shop. The man working the register was so nice as well as the other woman behind the counter. They chatted me up about which drinks to try - I ended up going with a seasonal drink and it was delicious! Their ingredients are also high quality, which you can taste! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back!!

I found Smalltown when I was looking for someplace to kill a little time while my son was at an event at the Sparta Dome. I'm so glad I came in. The space is open, charming and friendly. There was a steady stream of customers coming through and everyone was served efficiently with plenty of room for seating. I had a caramel latte and toffee chocolate scone, both were delicious. They have cookies and other scones, as well as some substantive breakfast options. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular!

Great coffee place in Crown Point. Everyone is very friendly and polite. Vanilla and caramel latte was very creamy, flavorful and well balanced. Something that actually impressed me is that they make their own espresso toppings and they are full of flavor without being a corn syrup garbage that other coffee chains serve. The Blueberry waffle was delicious and I definitely recommend the egg Danish with bacon.Will definitely recommend!!!

I hate that I’m writing this review, but here we go. Long story short, there is one guy there that has just never made me a consistent and good hot latte. I know one lady that works there makes great coffee. I asked another woman that took my order if I could have her make my latte and I would be willing to wait. The guy that makes my latte just terribly every time made it. I asked him if this was my latte because I asked someone else to make it, his response was extremely short and rude. He said, we don’t do that here, it’s a policy we don’t do requests like that. I’m curious, if it’s a policy, why didn’t the woman who took my order tell me that? Because people there have always honored that request.So I call, I ask for the manager, he says there’s no manager. I ask for corporates number, he says we don’t have corporate. I ask again, I’m not understanding how there’s no manager in charge at which time he decides to field this call. I was extremely polite and just wanted to see where the convo would go. I told him I didn’t like the coffee he just made me. He blames the roast, blames his newborn baby. You know what a customer doesn’t want to hear when there’s a problem…excuses. I feel for him as a person, but as a customer, I just want the issue fixed. Never once did he offer to remake it. Bottom line, the guy just placated me so I wouldn’t push harder. It was very clear after speaking to him, he didn’t care that I didn’t like the coffee, he didn’t care about me at all. I think he was just trying to push me off.Before I continue, to the lady with the curly hair and the two gentlemen that helped me figure out I like lattes, you are the best. You all made my days better, so I just wanted to share that.I was really thinking this review over. It makes me sad ultimately, because I’ve made the decision I’m not going there anymore. Ya know, most of my interactions were awesome, coffee was great and pretty darn consistent. But I won’t allow someone to insult my intelligence like that. I could feel the passive aggressiveness when he put the coffee on the counter. Then says to me, it’s busy. There was no one in line, no one was even looking to order and the girl I wanted to make the coffee was talking to another employee. I smiled and walked away but realized he just fed me a line of….Cheers to all the kind and honest people out there!
