Deep dish pizza sandwich was pretty gross, as well as jammin burger. Pizza sauce was bad, and too much bread. Sandwich just not working.
Jammin sauce was way too sweet. Most other times I’ve been here everything was great.
What's the square root of zero? 0 stars for first and last visit here. We had a group of 5 and wanted to sit outside. We were denied this request because we were told a fifth chair couldn't be moved to a table of 4, even though the weren't busy. Ok, we agreed to be seated inside. After waiting nearly 10 minutes without so much as even a glass of water being offered, it was time to leave. Reading the fine print on the menu, also noticed that all credit/debit card payments would be assessed a 3% fee for processing, on top of already high prices.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Service wasn't great, and they weren't really busy either. Food was delicious, little pricey. Highly recommend the brisket nachos, but recommend removing the jalapeños or the pickled onions.... was a bit too much pickling... but the nachos and brisket were great.
Food and the service was good but for them to charge a service charge on using your credit card is nonsense after I spent 250.00 for dinner
The food is good. However, the service is usually horrible. Today, I am here for my dinner after my son's high school graduation. My family actually commented how the service was good for a change. But then the food came out.......everybody had their food, but me. The server says somehow my order just disappeared on the ticket!!!! So here i am watching My family eat.......this place is the same everytime and apparently the management does not care enough to change this place around!!!!
I had the Deep Roots burger. Very good. Will be back.
If you come here, make sure you are aware ahead of time that the music is extraordinarily loud, like, You can't talk to the person next to you loud. Food is great, if not extremely expensive.
Buddy as can be, very tasty food ( pot roast and Cuban sandwich to die for),good drinks, nice service and a cool atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Pleasant service, good food (and desserts) and a nice atmosphere.
Was there last Friday. Food and service were excellent. They were out of the Stagg bourbon that I ordered…which was priced at $30 a pour. The waiter asked if I would like to substitute EH Taylor Small Batch instead…which is priced at $17 per pour in the menu. I said that would be fine. I watched them bring the bottle out which I recognized as Small Batch. The bourbon was excellent. Received my bill and was charged the $30 for the Stagg. Pointed it out to the waiter and he said oh no, the bourbon we substituted for you is priced much higher at $47 a pour and we gave that to you for the same price since we were out of the Stagg. I said, no you gave me the EH Taylor Small Batch which is priced at $17 on the menu. He said no I don’t think so. I said can you please ask the bartender what she poured, she said it was the small batch. They whispered back and forth a bit and she told me that I should take advantage of that bill adjustment…like I got a deal when all I wanted was to be charged according to what the menu stated. In the end our waiter was apologetic, adjusted our bill correctly, and was very friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. Just seemed a bit fishy to me. I don’t know everything about bourbon but, I do some hunting and would never pay $30 let alone $47 a pour for Taylor small batch.

We went to Square Roots last night. We ordered the Big Sexy which is the monthly feature and the We be Jammin which is a burger. It took over an hour to get our food. When it finally came out my sandwich looked like it had sat there for an hour before they brought it out. The meat was cold the cheese was hard and the fries were hard and cold like they had been sitting since lunch. His came out and they brought him the Bao chicka Bao Bao which is chicken on Bao buns. It was another waitress or runner that brought it out so she sent our waiter over and he as like are you sure you didn’t order that like there was something similar about the two that could’ve been mistake. Since it took so long to get our food we told him we were just going to leave and go somewhere else just bring us a check for our drinks. We sat there for another ten minutes waiting for a check and finally just walked out since all we had to drink was Pepsi. This is the 2nd time we had this experience there. The last time it was a female waitress and every table around us including ones that came in after us got their food before us. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Great addition to the area! Food was good and came out relatively fast! The drinks were great I had the campfire margarita! One of my favorite drinks for now on if I must say! Our server was very nice and did a great job! We'll definitely be back

Great food generally. Drinks are overpriced. We have been back many times and will continue to eat here. Elote dip is great!

We ordered our food, soup and a pretzel and it took over an hour and 15. Seen tables that came in behind us and they got served. Not our waiters fault he kept checking on us...love Square Roots but this visit was so disappointing

Disappointing. Slow service, expensive. Sunday evening Square Roots was full, but we did get a table without a wait. That was the high note. Please bring a paper beer list with the menus or keep it on the table like the wine and spirits list. I’m tired of playing with QR codes. I ordered a draft craft beer, was $6. Didn’t notice until it arrived that was a 12 oz. pour. Nearly everywhere else I’ve been that gets me a pint, unless it’s something high ABV. Adult beverages were at least 25% more than comparable, as was most everything on the menu. But ok, I get it, inflation and location. $12 soft pretzel with 3 dips was typical bar pretzel. I usually decline ordering my meal at the same time as appetizer, since kitchen or server brings it all at once. This time I wish I had. Long after we finished the pretzel, our server returned to take our food order. By the time our food arrived we had been there nearly an hour. I would estimate 40 minutes from ordering. My daughter’s meal was cold. Son’s meal was warm…ish. Mine was hot (note: mine was pasta that was supposed to be in a Cajun cream sauce, but was served in oil, but it tasted good and I didn’t notice the discrepancy until looking at the menu later). We looked for our server, but she had vanished. By the time she returned my son had finished his meal, I was more than halfway through, and my daughter had tried to eat some but it was too cold and was unpleasant. She asked our server if it could be warmed up and off it went. Several minutes later a manager came by and asked about the cold meal, and did we want it remade, as they did not have a microwave to warm it. We said no, we didn’t want to wait that long, keep in mind we waited 40 minutes originally, and everyone else in the party had already finished their food. We were given the options of 1. Wait for it to be remade 2. No remake, remove from bill. 3. Take cold food to go and be charged for it. We went with no remake, no bill. So my daughter had a third of a pretzel, one cold chicken finger, and 2 bites of cold mac and cheese for dinner (and feels guilty for complaining). You be the judge if you think the manager “made it right”.
