This was a favorite of our family but tonight the customer service on my large order was rude and short with me didn’t want to answer questions. when we tried to order more food types and ask questions it felt like she just would prefer we get off the phone. This is not how we felt in prior orders and makes u reconsider spending 60$ here vs someplace else local. consider talking with them bc it didn’t feel intentional but bc of that it impacted how we felt about our meal today and how we will order in the future. I typically go to their location in Merrillville and live their food. Today at the Cp location my meal did not taste like it should. The steak trashed extremely different.

The Karla’s tacos are very good. Simple toppings??, not skimpy on portions?? Rice & beans are average but, then again, no one’s r&b “wow” me. Barbacoa, chicken, chorizo, all good. Definitely recommended!

Total disappointment.
My girl and I use to love this spot. When I moved to NWI she showed me this spot and I fell in love with it. We ate here quite often. Then the last two times we have been there we have slowly been getting turned off with seeing the good quality of food go downhill.. Today we decided to give it another try and I will say today is the LAST day we eat here. Between the cold burrito, burnt tortilla chips, and slop that I am assuming what they call nachos it is an utter disappointment. Seeing such a different/very good Mexican restaurant go this far downhill so fast is so upsetting. Maybe stick to just the Merrillville location. If you want the best Mexican food in Crown Point I suggest you go another .5 miles down the road to Fat Burrito.

This place used to be my favorite to get Mexican takeout in Crown Point. Today we ordered $50 worth of dinner, and it was all pretty repulsive. We ordered a chicken enchilada dinner and the red sauce tasted like pizza sauce, and the chicken was dry with zero flavor. My boyfriend's "big" burrito was literally cold to the touch and about the size of a tamale. The supreme nachos were cold with barely any steak on them, and the lettuce that came with the meals was brown. It's so unfortunate because I used to love this place. :(

Came in to place a togo order. I told the lady at the front that it was my first time there and I'll be a minute to decide. She showed me 2 signs where they had specials and told me to take my time. I ordered the 3 Karla tacos special, the small rice & beans mix, and the cup elote. The rice was a bit on the dry side but the beans had great flavor. Elote was very flavorful with a nice and subtle spice. Tacos were pretty good. I'll definitely have to come back to dine in and try some more menu items out!

I ordered from here before messed up my order, I thought to give them a second try and nope! My chicken looked like ground beef was dry as hell plus they forgot a whole kids taco meal I went in and they gave me just 2 steak tacos..... the Pic I posted is sapoused to be a chicken quesadilla. Nit very good!

I came in to order. I purchased 2 tamales, small rice and a few other things. I get home, there's only 1 tamale, a very large order of rice and I wasn't about to drive back. I checked the receipt and I was charged for large rice and both tamales. The place was not busy so how do you forget to put what I paid for in the bag? Other than that, the rice was good, the tamale good, tacos, good. Just make sure you check your stuff before leaving

We order from here frequently and in big family sizes. This is the first time we have ever been truly disappointed. Looked like entirely new staff so maybe that's where things got lost. Everything was off though. Consome just looked and tasted like red spicy oil. No flavor. Just spice. Karla tacos were different. Barbacoa was different. Guac was not fresh. Horchata was different and warm. Everything was just not having a good day.
