My husband and I had a very disappointing experience at Tomato Bar in Crown Point, Indiana. My husband ordered a 14-inch Magic Potion pizza for pick-up through Uber Eats. When I arrived, the staff insisted I couldn’t pick it up because there was no Uber Eats driver. I repeatedly explained that it was not ordered as delivery but as pick-up, yet they still refused to release the pizza. Despite Uber Eats marking the order as complete with no driver ever assigned, I left empty-handed and without dinner. I couldn't even cancel the order because as mentioned, the order was marked as complete, just waiting for me to pick it up. Despite the staff's insistence that a driver was likely coming, no one ever did because, again, we chose pick-up. My husband is now trying to get a refund for the nearly $40 we spent. I did contact corporate as well because this is ridiculous.
