Love love love Bread Basket Cafe! My brother and his wife turned us on to BBC&B many years ago. They have excellent food. Their menu is diverse enough for all appetites. This is not fast food. It is creative in how they prepare your food choices. This is how it should be done. It is located in the heart of Danville Ind. In a converted home that has a nice quiet and intimate feel. Be prepared to have a short eait but it is worth it. Also leave room for the baked goods. When you are navigating to your seat you will pass by a chilled display case of their delicious goodies. Just stop and look at your options. Pricing tends to be more than average but this shouldn't hold you back. A beautiful sunny afternoon and your all set. They close at 3pm and are not open Sundays or Mondays. Fun to go with friends and know you can enjoy wonderful food as well as wonderful conversation without the extra noise.

I enjoyed the choose two! The grilled cheese with pesto and tomato was unbelievable! The best grilled cheese ever tasted. I highly recommend trying this restaurant the staff is so friendly and attentive. The dessert selection is endless so arrive hungry!

This is the best lunch I’ve ever had the cabbage soup taste like a better potato soup and the club sandwich was chunky but not hard so good 100% recommend

Very quaint and relaxing little spot that serves great food. They even make their own loaves of bread that you can purchase to take home and enjoy. The server was very nice.

I have never been more pleased to choose somewhere new to eat for lunch. My husband and I were both extremely pleased with our food and service this past weekend. Everything on the menu looked delicious. I couldn't decide so I got the choose two and had the grilled cheese and the portabella salad combo. Both were amazing and I was so glad I split my choice. I am going to be craving the portabella salad here soon! I also had a slice of the peanut butter pie which was out of this world! My husband had the chicken salad on croissant and it was gone before I got to ask for a bite. He also had the chia pudding with fruit. We were so excited to find Chia pudding on the menu. Lastly, I took a piece of the Rhubarb pie home to my mom. She said it was so good and loved the crust too!

I cannot say enough about this fabulous restaurant. First time visit for me today & I will return again & again. Absolutely wonderful experience, coupled with incredibly delicious food & baked goods. As my friends & I were leaving, we ran into the owner & had a delightful discussion about the history of the restaurant. So interesting. She is such a smart lady.A first class operation with dedicated individuals assisting her to run a five star restaurant.Delicious food & baked goods. Can’t wait to return. Indianapolis should be so lucky. ?

Had biscuits and gravy, made from scratch and my wife had the pecan waffle, and everything was fantastic and delicious, from the service and food, staff was absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend this place.
