Quantity of food 5 ☆. Everyone enjoyed their selections. Our combo fajitas for two was enough for four, but we thought the chef forgot to add the fajitas seasoning to our dish. Service was 5 ☆☆.

Had the best experience with catering my husband’s birthday party this weekend! Had more than enough food for 35 people and it was delicious! Everyone was impressed! We will definitely use La Ranchera again for dining in and carry out!!

DO NOT ORDER ALCOHOL HERE!!!! They give you a normal size looking shot glass but it is extra thick glass and a shot is really only about half a shot. And ITS TEN DOLLARS FOR THAT HALF SHOT! On top of that, the food is sub par and the service is even worse. Asked multiple times for another drink and they kept forgetting.

Ordered poblano pepper and just gor cheese with two bits of poblano. Rice was unflavored and refried beans were bad. Watered down. After $32 it was NOT worth it.Don't eat there!

I rated it lower due to the cost. Three a la carte and two small meals were $100. The food was pretty good but not $100. Good in my opinion.
The food was great and came out fast. The waiters weren't very friendly and didn't seem to want to talk to people. Also it was cheaper than most Mexican restaurants
We have touted this as being our favorite place for Mexican food for years. We drive from Greencastle to Danville just to eat here regularly. However, the last 2 visits have been bad. It seems their standards are slipping. For some reason (cost saving?) they decided to only put about one teaspoon worth of queso on the nachos supreme now and reduced the overall portion by about 50%. My daughter ordered the steak ranchero, and it came raw (raw, not rare). Literally kissed in the pan on each side, when she ordered it med-well. The waiter never came over to check on us, when I finally waved him down and told him about the steak, his response was to hand me a business card for a different restaurant in Avon..!? She ate one bite of the $15 steak, they never offered to take it off the bill. Fool me once.. I think I'm done (at least for a while). Gave it 2 stars for Food and Service because in the past we have always enjoyed this place.
