Boundary Waters Restaurant

My family and I really love this restaurant. The lake perch dinner was great! The staff was polite and friendly. My family really enjoyed our dinner here. There's no TVs or loud music which made it very cozy, relaxing, and family friendly. The restaurant was busy but not loud.

I can't remember if it was last Friday or the Friday before Boundary Waters had a surf and turf what's consisted of prime rib, Ribeye, Strip Steak with either Shrimp or Perch. I chose Prime rib with Shrimp it was a little expensive but I deserved it. It was absolutely delicious. I hope they have it again and I hope I can afford it again. Thank you for such a delicious meal.

I just love boundary waters. I try to go there at least once a week their cheese bacon soup is amazing along with the bread it comes with. The perch and the burgers are fantastic and they’re always willing to make you an adult beverage.

My boyfriend and I came here to eat dinner. We were seated immediately and got our drinks immediately then we sat for another 45 minutes waiting for our food. There was a big party that was there before us so I thought maybe it was that but we sat for extra 15-20 mins after they got their food and we still didn’t get ours. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave after sitting in the restaurant for over an hour. Very disappointed as I was starving and had to order elsewhere.

Enjoyed dinner had a great waitress (Tracy). Very friendly and great service.

Food was good and not too expensive. Salads were large. The service was excellent.

The bread was delicious and I enjoyed my salad. The staff were good and friendly. My husband got steak and shrimp. The steak was only 1/2 in. thick and too much fat, and the shrimp were greasy. He didn't eat any shrimp and only half of the steak. The baked potato had to be sent back to be heated so the butter would melt. I got the linguini with marinara sauce, and the sauce (had too much sauce) tasted like something out of a can. Maybe it's that way in Indiana but not from where I'm from on the East coast. I was hungry and ate most of it! We were camping in the area and wanted to eat out. If you're in the area, give it a try.

THE CUTEST darn spot. I'm a sucker for a "Tahoe cabin" aesthetic with wood benches, troohy fish, and other taxidermy. Stacy and Leanne were angels! We had great food (6 wings in Buffalo sauce, Walleye, Lake Perch, and Ribeye. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was fun...and clean! Best spot by far in De Motte!

The staff is so friendly & personable. I love the rustic, lodge feel to the restaurant. The food is outstanding & reasonably priced.

Love the food an service an the atmosphere an decor was awesome an was clean an best hot wings ever. Took leftovers an ate later . Would definitely go back .
