We never got the chance to eat here but I did want to write a review. 2 years ago my father in law got lost in your little town which is an hour away from where we live. Jim's Cafe allowed him to leave his car there until we were able to get a tow. The day we arrived was Valentines Day and it was negative 13 degrees. The cafe was closed but when we pulled in we both noticed that the place was named after my father who passed away 6 years prior and my niece who passed away at birth was part of your address. 4.5 months ago my father in law passed away. We felt the need to drive to see this cafe. We drove an hour on saturday and sadly it was closed. Everything we read on the internet said it was open til 2. We arrived at 12:30 and it was closed. The sign said 12. We were heartbroken. We just wanted to say THANK YOU and see why of all the places in town and my father in laws journey did this place be the place he safely ended up at.

The 2 skillets they brought my parents were under cooked the hash browns were basically uncooked and so were the vegetables so we told the waitress first she made a smart remark about my mom over reacting after I had told her my mother has no teeth and could not eat vegetables that were not cooked and she told us we’d be charged again for another plate and my father called her out and said that was very rude of her and she told us to get out and to not worry about the bill is this seriously how you treat customers willing to pay for your services?? Unbelievable wont be going back again.
Waitress was very nice, food came out quickly, and everything was delicious! New favorite place for breakfast!

Very impressed! I have lived close by for over 15 years now, but my work schedule & their open hours have never really worked out for me to check this place out. I have to say it is a very nice little hidden gem. The coffee is awesome & breakfast was great! The size of their portions are on the larger size. The wait staff was very friendly & quick with refills.
