I worked in a steel mill. When I retired, I moved to the boonies where my family lived. This is where I shop for authentic Mexican food.

It looks like they changed owners or under new management because the reviews does not reflect their food. . Everything tastedstale and over seasoned. Super salty. And please don't ever order the steak, one of the toughest steaks I had that I didn't finished. Also nobody came back to check if everything was OK or we needed anything else.. to drink the fridge was 3/4 empty they had boxes of drinks sitting on the side and back just no one cared to fill in the fridge . Nothing like a hot soda with your salty food . In the pictures I saw Gorditas and tortas which they didn't have drove 30 min out my drive disappointed

The BEST tamales ever!! Whenever we travel to this area we make sure we put Mi Tierra on our list of places that we must stop at. We have had both the chicken and the pork tamales, both are just as good as the other.

The food was okay at best for it to be an "Authentic Mexican Restaurant" the prices are outrageous atmosphere is horrible stuffy and crowded. The service was lack of welcoming the restroom was horrible no bathroom essentials.

It's in a Hispanic market but the tacos and quesadillas are amazing and the folks who work there are very friendly.

Authentic and delicious Mexican food, plus a grocery store with fresh tamales. They now take credit cards.

The vegetarian pupusas: (1)squash with cheese, (2) beans with cheese were delicious. The toppings for the pupusas consisted of fermented coleslaw and salsa ; both flavorful. The vegetarian taco with beans, avocado, tomato and lettuce was good. The lady at the store front took our food order, she was friendly. Overall, a hole in the wall offering pleasant service and tasty food near the highway.Vegetarian options: Pupusas, tacos and burritos
Small restaurant but very nice people and excellent food! Reasonable price.. they have pre-made tamales, and they were very tasty!

I moved away to France, but I still think about their tamales

The food was sort of bad. I called for pickup and they didn't have anything I wanted that was clearly on the menu so I chose tacos. They didn't have tortas, or cheese, or jalapeño. And the meat for my tacos was over cooked.

Would recommend this small mexican restaurant and store for anyone visiting 'Fair Oaks' farm. We skipped sandwiches and burgers at COWfe and drove 9 miles North through the country side / farm road to this place. The staff greeted us with a great smile. We ordered Tacos and Tamales. Our kids loved the shrimp and steak tacos. We got tamales based on a recommendation from one of the local customers who stopped by while we were exploring the store.Very delicious food and great service!

I'm here to say. If they don't have it, they make it fresh. Yes, try their steak tacos..Probably the best Guacamole and Pico de Gallo I've had and that's saying alot!
