We moved to DeMotte a little over a year ago from a much larger city in Indiana where we had every restaurant option. We were SO excited to find this gem at SP-19… it is our go-to restaurant! Everything we have had here has been good… we are big fans of happy hour and LOVE the Italian beef. The inside is great and we love sitting on the patio when the weather is nice. Our favorite local place for sure, but the food is top notch for a local bar/grill!

So the problem wasn’t the taste of the food, it was the fact that my order technically wasn’t placed correctly. I ordered a few things… The Mac, a kids cheeseburger and the bacon cheeseburger. I specifically said no barbecue sauce on The Mac and when I opened the container, it was covered in barbecue sauce… not what I asked. And I’m not a fan of that sauce. And the kids cheeseburger we asked to add lettuce and tomato and they took it upon themselves to add pickles…? Which never came out of my mouth. Small things yes, but a big deal when nothing is cheap anymore.

I had a steak salad and a slice of cheesecake for dessert. The steak on my salad was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The staff were super friendly. My cheesecake was delicious, soft, and creamy with a slight lemon zest to it. You get popcorn as a free pre-meal snack. I forgot to take a picture of my steak salad.

First time dining here and we really enjoyed it. Great service, food and atmosphere. I would have liked a side of gravy with my meal, but they were out. Fair prices and plenty of parking. We will be back, maybe for the outdoor dining, when the weather breaks.

Haven't been there for awhile, Please go back to the reuben sandwich being slices ,not chunks ,meat falls off sandwich as chunks , The slices ma k e such a better sandwich to eat and the appearance of sandwich.

The place is a hidden gem. Our waitress Shavonne was amazing. So nice and friendly. The food was delicious, and the drinks (off the Christmas menu) were yummy. Definitely will be back.
