This is an old family favorite restaurant that has served excellent home cooking food for decades. The menu is fantastic and the staff is friendly, very attentive to guests. The food is delicious, especially the prime rib and brisket they make . Really great atmosphere rich with local history and memorabilia to enjoy. The pies go without saying- a must try. Highly recommend Back 40 Junction. Delicious!

I was dubious after reading some of the recent reviews, I'm glad I still went. Charming atmosphere, great food. I loved the brisket and the prime rib. The strawberry rhubarb pie was incredible and I also loved the fish, chicken, and the super moist brownies

When we got there for an early dinner, no issues with food pr service. But within 30-minutes of the evening rush and the food lines skyrocketed, the prime rib became “rarer than we usually make it” which was VERY rare and hard to chew, followed by cramped dining (hard to get through with all the people and tables) and a service decline that took us 30-min to get the check and then 15-min to find someone to ring us out because the one person standing there was on her first night and she wasn’t taught how to ring people out yet.
Very rustic an down home cooking , there's no reason to leave there craving anything !!

Some of the food was great. Some was only mediocre. Definitely not what I remembered. But unfortunately covid changed a lot good places and they just never recovered. Hopefully this place will get back to being great.

oh my goodness, this restaurant is the most cozy comfortable atmosphere. everyone in there is so welcoming and nice. now the food is the real topic. I have never been to a buffet that has so much flavor in a nice home-cooked based food. the food was so good. the brisket was amazing. so moist and fell apart like butter. I definitely will recommend this restaurant over and over again. thank you for the amazing meal!
