I don't know what you have to do to get service here but apparently I wasn't doing it. I went in and sat down at a table and was totally ignored. No offer of a drink or a menu. I gave up after ten minutes and left. There were ten other customers already there when I arrived who already had their food so it's not like they were swamped with people and super busy. The food looked good and I would have liked to try it but that's hard to do when you can't even get a menu.

The Derby Tavern is a gem! We were in a rush and had the buffet “to go” on Saturday. Delicious food (fried chicken is excellent!) and extremely reasonably priced! We will be back when we can sit back on the patio and watch the river flow! Thank you, Derby Tavern!
