I've lived in this little town for about two years now, husband and I have ate at this place several times, enough to have a solid review. Diners are my favorite places to eat, especially little hole in the wall diners. Any small towners know what I mean by "little hole in the wall diners". Across Indiana we have no shortage of them, and they're the best food you will eat, and 9/10 times, for better prices than run of the mill restaraunts. This diner doesn't have "hole in the wall" country diner vibes to it, it's a bit fancier than that. Service / waiters / staff get a 10/10. Always very polite, great service. The food is a bit overpriced, and it just doesn't have that down home, skillet good and greasy(good grease, not nasty, old tasting grease), country style, hole in the wall, home-made by momma in the back, or old recipe taste to it. The food is good, it just don't have that small town diner taste to it, that you would hope that it would in a small town like this, and its a little on the expensive side like I said before.

Janetâs Diner is the best hands down! Mary, our waiter, heard our baby crying, because he was ready to eat and Charlie took the time to send his order out early! Also, my husband said he didnât know how much he needed the ham hoagie until he ate it. All their food is delicious and itâs so hard to choose. We definitely recommend this restaurant!
