The uptown has been a local stop in for me for 13 years. They serve good food burgers fries breaded tenderloins buffalo chips. Exc... Most memorable moment. When I met the man that became my husband there on his spring break from college.. I haven't been in a couple years now but it's still a stout drink for a good price I'm sure!

Always great service, food and of course the best mixed drinks around. If ya never been there and your gonna eat while there I'd suggest you try their cheeseburger....one of the best I've ever had ..
I provided two valid forms of ID and the bartender did not let me drink, nor did they even scan the second. It’s worked for members of our police force, idk why I was refused service.

We was passing through Dugger Indiana.I had a plan to go eat at another restaurant in that town. It was closed. We found the uptown tavern open. It was really a good place. Family owned and operated. The owners gave me great detailed directions to our destination in the Green Sullivan State Forest.
