Knowing the restaurants close to the lake entrance are closed seasonally, we were super excited to see Taqueria El Llano had opened when we recently made a weekend trip to our cabin to enjoy the snow. We stopped in for lunch on the way out and left full of good food and talking about how great it was to have an authentic Mexican restaurant local to the lake. We were happy to see breakfast options (noon on a Sunday) we had the large breakfast plate (chorrizo was amazing) 3 tacos (El Pastor, Carnitas, Asada) and all were delicious. There looked to be a 21+ bar area and patio which I can see getting busy when the weather warms and lake season hits. We look forward to coming back and welcome Taqueria El Llano to the lake life!

EXCELLENT TACOS!!! Hard to find tacos like those I used to enjoy in SoCal. These guys have them!! Highly recommend and come check out the updated/expanded dining area!!
