Out of what I ordered...but had time to sit and visit with friends

Food was good, service was great. Dont like the unnecessary changes in the decor of the restaurant. So bland. Makes no sense.

It's was great

We were seated and waited 20 minutes before we left. No one greeted us. Other tables around us were seated later and received immediate service.

We went to Cracker Barrel in 2 Indiana places 4 times during the last 2 weeks. 3 of the 4 visits were excellent....great food, friendly fast service. One visit we waited 20 minutes for our food at the Merrillville Cracker Barrel on 12/18. Don't know what was going on that day as we had been there before and had excellent service. We also waited quite a while to be seated and ended up seated near the kitchen....I could actually look into the kitchen from where I was. So not the best seats. Our waitress was pleasant and apologetic but late with bringing drinks. All in all not a great experience.

The wait staff did not know they have veteran discounts when it was clearly posted by the check out. The pancakes are delicious. I wish they didn't have the store in front. Cannot bring the grandkids without spending too much

The Menu has been drastically reduced. It was disappointing. As much as I love the little shop. I doubt I'll go back. The food quality has not been the same in quite a while. The menu has been reduced by way more than half of what the used to offer. It's sad to see an old favorite take a dive the way it has. That's the way things go I guess.

Waited at least 10 mins before drink order. Then another 20 for food that was just ok. I thought about leaving couple times but didn't. Won't stop there again. Be ok if busy but it was not busy at all.

Our Server was so great. Had a few errors on the food but wasn't his fault. He took care of us.

Everything was just OK. It was so busy. We have to wait for such a long time for our food. Our server was very friendly and apologetic.

This is about all I can give. The shop was clean. Shop staff very pleasant. Not very crowded over all. Actually only about 6 tables that I can recall people sitting at, not including ours. So much staff that they were standing around chatting with each other. We were abandoned, yes thats right, at a table at the back of the store. Sat there for about 20 minutes with not one other employee speaking to us at all. At the 20 minute mark another table was seated near us and their drink order was taken immediately.
We then got up and upon leaving we informed the manager of the situation and that WE WILL NOT BE BACK. Zero excuse for such poor svc.

We had a great experience. Our food was very good and our waitress was nice and attentive.

I would give -10 if it wasn’t for the server. He was very nice and continually apologized for everything. The lady that was seating people was very rude and sat us at a table that had a drink spilled all over it. We waited forever on our food and the coffee was ice cold.
