Hunter's BBQ Restaurant & Catering

I was just there for the first time after riding past it many times. It was very busy but the staff handled it well. We were served promptly and never felt neglected. The food was basic barbecue fare but was very tasty. The food was plentiful and a choice of barbecue sauces was offered. I'm already thinking about what to order the next time I go.

I was extremely excited to try this place. Its with a sad heart that I say the food was bad and the customer service was even worse. ???

9/11/2020.Not impressed. Slow service. Cold food and rock hard corn bread. The atmosphere is good, plenty of room to park. Guys, please get it together. We live on the South side of Bremen and love BBQ but wouldn't go back until service improvements are made. 2 people/ $30. No drinks.

Fantastic food, excellent service! Some of the best brisket I've ever had (I've had a lot). Don't miss the smoked mac & cheese!

Really liked the salmon bites. Worth the drive from LaPorte.

3x & every time.. Orders were messed up AND TOOK THEM HR & 1/2 to prepare 2 entrees. Smh

Food was great but need to get the food to you quicker so it's hot when you get it. Great taste

Only 4 stars die to the fact it took a while to receive our food but it was delicious when we got It! Great Beer selection and the price is just right for the portions of food you get.

Went there tonight for the first time with my neighbors and 2 of us ordered the all you can eat fish. And the other ribs. When the fish came out it was batter dipped and fried a little crisper and when we ordered more fish it came out breaded. Breading had no flavor. I said to my neighbors this is the first time I went to an all you can eat fish and had 2 different type breadings. So I ask the waitress how does the fish normally come, and she said batter dipped. Hmmm I said we had 2 different types and I showed her. She said that’s strange that is the breading for our tenderloins. She said she would say something to the back. Didn’t offer any apologies or discount or Say she was sorry. We won’t be going back.

Hunter's has some of the most fantastic barbecue I've ever had. Their pulled pork and brisket are both exceptional, especially when they pile it on their 'Big Bad Burger'. Plus, their service is great, and they have a nice, clean atmosphere for family dining. I'd highly recommend checking them out.

I’d give this place a zero because they are never open. Have tried 4 weekends in a row and even called before going to double check to see if they would be open. Drove there from out of town and they still were not open. Will never bother going here again. Definitely will give my money to places that want to be open.
