2nd Language Ramen

This place is amazing all the way around! After my first two visits (18 months and 4 months ago), I’ve recommended 2nd Language to quite a few people and shared that my SPICY MISO RAMEN (with chicken instead of pork) was so good I wanted to lick my bowl! Last night, the flavor was off and I just couldn’t eat it. I explained this to our server who offered to either just take it off the bill or replace it with the same dish or something else. My friend and I had tickets to a play and couldn’t linger. So, considering my previous experiences with the flavor, I asked for the same dish to go. Today, I had my takeout warmed for lunch, and it was so delicious I spooned up every last drop!!! I wish I could remember our server’s name because I would love to thank her! Perhaps she’ll see this review and know how grateful I am that she took the time and effort to make it right when there was an issue. I also want to express my appreciation for the management team that allows their servers to take such actions. My friend and I also shared the LUMPIA SHANGHAI appetizer and the HONEY TOAST dessert (which I’ve enjoyed at all 3 visits) and both were amazing! If you haven’t tried it yet, I recommend putting it at the top of your list!

Writing this while still sitting here. It’s freezing (2/3 of my party was visibly shivering) I’ve been done eating for 15 minutes and haven’t been checked on for a box or check, and the food was good but way overhyped.

I've been to many countries.Many states already many delicacies.This is the best place next to new york.Chinatown, i've ever had a ramen in such a way.Definitely a try.If you're a foodie put it on the list, this place is great

Wonderful place with great food and service. Sat outside enjoying the breeze,however I felt like the train nearby was just sitting pulling its horn every 10 min lol.

This is a very nice modern Japanese restaurant with some interesting ramen bowls and other standards (karaage).

My daughter and I ate here and just loved it. The food was very very good. Everything beautifully presented and Paced good. It’s on the pricey side but it is honestly the best ramen in town.

Really nice place it's upstairs downstairs is a pizza place in upstairs is 2nd language it is very I guess you could say it's upscale the prices of scale I'll tell you that but it is really nice and it is worth it I end up getting shrimp buns they were $15 but it was worth it For me I can only take a picture of one because as soon as I got in the car I ate one of them sweet bun everything else is really savory on the inside it's worth it

I've heard about Pangea for close to 10 years now while living out of state. Without even asking I was brought here for a quick slice of an eccentric dessert pie and some delicious vegan sherbet.

Vibe was immaculate. Obvious pride in what they do while also maintaining a casual and welcoming service.

Great Ramen Noodle bowls. I had the XO Ramen bowl, it had shrimp and scallop, yummy! And you have to leave room for the Honey Toast, it's fantastic.

The ramen is so good, I sat at the bar and has wonderful service. I will be back, the next time I'm in Evansville! Highly recommend. You can also order pizza from the restaurant downstairs, they share menu items.

Got the pizza from here. Its some of the better pizza I have had. I will be back to try the Ramen upstairs.

We did the egg roll appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 ramen entrees, the honey toast, and 2 cookies for later. $100
And 100% worth it. Absolutely delicious ramen and this Honey Toast was in the top 10 desserts I've probably ever had.

We sat at the bar and our bartender was super helpful, friendly, and fun.

I'm actually sad it's an hour drive away from us because we'd love to come back.
