We run all over the country for work and we love trying local places along the way. When you arrive it doesn’t necessarily look like much. It gets more welcoming inside though. And the best part…the food and service were amazing. We didn’t know what we were in for until the salad and garlic bread showed up. Great! We had chicken cordon bleu and baked ziti. Again, great. If what you’re looking for is great food and service without the frills, this is an awesome option. At least it proved so for us!

Angelo’s is amazing, we had my birthday dinner here and the service was TOP TIER!!! Everything was fresh and delicious. If this little boy is eating it then it’s a must try. He is my picky eater. I will always go to Angelo’s it if I want an authentic Italian meal.

The food was delicious. I got the tiramisu for dessert and it was perfect. Definitely my favorite tiramisu to date. Greg was my server and he was very nice and speedy. He made the atmosphere very warm and welcoming, definitely made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Haven't been there in a long time. But when I went service was excellent very friendly atmosphere. Great food last time I forgot to tell them no mushrooms and they fixed it for me no problem. Will always recommend for authenticate Italian.

We LOVE this place! A great place for real authentic Italian fine cuisine food. We eat here quite a bit! The wine is amazing and the service is outstanding! We actually met the owner and he is an amazing guy. He actually interact with his customers! The environment is wonderful and we love to sit outside at dusk on Main St. to enjoy the city ambience along with the way Angelos have their setup. Highly recommend if your looking for good Italian food and service in the downtown area of Evansville!

Yum! Fabulous old-school Italian food in downtown Evansville. I went alone close to closing time and had the spinach ravioli, which came with a side salad and yummy buttered rolls. Not low calorie and I did not care! Reasonably priced; friendly service. I will be back next time I'm in town.

Solid, old school red sauce Italian restaurant in downtown Evansville. The spaghetti and meatballs are great, as is the house chef’s salad with homemade Italian dressing and served with a nice basket of freshly baked garlic knots.

Got the baked ziti and the tortellini to go. Didn’t get the rolls or the salad. When we showed up to get the order they said they are out of both. Was not offered a substitute.
