I went yesterday with my mother she ordered jalapenos poppers with funnel cake sticks, I ordered mozzarella cheese sticks with a cheesecake, service was good food was very hot, only just a little thing they didn't have ranch for my moms jalapeno poppers but it's okay that wasn't nothing to get mad about Atleast the food was hot and we pulled off with a big smile. The cashier at the window was awesome 👍🏾 even tho I'm a long johns silver fan I do get my entree and cheese cake from there because, long johns silver I don't think they have mozzarella cheese sticks or cheese cake.

I love their crabcakes! Well crab cakes is a shell of some sort as but very good. Catfish and hush puppies are so delicious. Fried okra was on time. Everything was very fresh at 6:30pmish, which was impressive, because most places have the food that's been sitting out for hours or whatever they do to make it not fresh. But ol Captain D's was on it. Hit the spot!

Captain D's used to be one of my favorite restaurants but, because we only have one in town now, in Evansville and not in Newburgh, where I live, I rarely ever get to enjoy Captain D's, anymore. I had stopped to pick up a U-Haul truck before having lunch at Captain D's in Evansville. I ordered the lobster bites and more which was lobster bites a piece of fish, french fries and hush puppies. I also ordered the butterfly fried shrimp 5 for only $1.99! Wow! I also ordered a lemonade sweet tea! Everything was made fresh for me and everything tasted amazing!
I recently joined the Long John Silver's restaurant club I was disappointed with the way the food was made and the way the food tasted.
Everything was super greasy and a little bit overcooked and after eating it, I felt absolute regret.
However, after eating at Captain D's this day, I was really impressed and happy with how everything turned out!
I made sure to tell one of the employees how much I enjoyed the food and how I was impressed that everything was made fresh and tasted amazing!
Now that I have moved to Evansville, I will definitely be enjoying some Captain D's, once again!
